On our next cruise in May, we will be taking my Great Aunt Millie (age 92) with us. Although she's as sharp as ever, her mobility is not what it once was. She doesn't typically use a wheelchair, but with all the walking around on the ship, we figure we'll need one. Does anyone know if DCL supplies wheelchairs upon request like they do at WDW? We took her and my grandmother there for a week last year, put in a request for a wheelchair, and the had one waiting for us when we signed in at the Wilderness Lodge.

Hi there - my name is Shirley and PLEASE DAVE IF YOU ARE OUT THERE WILL YOU POST YOUR WEBSITE FOR CRUISERS - I do not know how to paste etc for this answer - anyhow here in Merritt Island, we have a medical supply store that will deliver and pickup any wheelchairs needed - the cost is $100.00 a week which includes the pickup, delivery etc - with Disney, I understand, it is on a first come first served item - when Dave's site is posted, he has everything you ever need to know before you leave home -
If I can help further, just drop me a note at snelsonbrown@aol.com
Good luck
Always
Shirley
Now anyone that is 92 and still going is super hero in my book - now that is what I call gutsy - how proud you must be of her.
