I will be traveling with my aunt and uncle this summer. We are staying at the AS Sports for a week and was wondering what was the best/most cost effective way to rent a motorized wheelchair. They both have knee issues and can't walk all day. They are pretty pricey at the parks, so I was wondering if it was better to rent outside? If so, where can we find that information? Is it better to get it from the hotel for the length of the stay? Any information you guys could provide for me would be great. Thanks in advance.

Walker Mobility has some really nice ECV's and pretty decent rates. I have used them for the last 2 years.

How can I reach them. Website phone number?
If you look in post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find contact information for the companies that DIS posters have mist often reported good experiences over the years. Walker is one of the companies listed.
You can find the disABILITIES FAQs thread near the top of this board or just follow the link in my signature to get there.

Also, FYI, what you want to rent is called a mobility scooter or an ECV. There are some companies that do rent power wheelchairs, but those are generally only rented to people who have experience driving them since they take more practice to drive. Wanted to make sure you knew that because some people on the past have wanted an ECV, but asked for a power wheelchair and were told they could not rent one because they were not experienced users.
