I recently underwent major surgery. June 5th to be exact. I just started to move around with some soreness and pain.
We arrive in Orlando in 16 days. Staying offsite with a small rental car.
I know Disney rents wheelchairs but how quickly do the electric one's go? How quicky at Universal?
I would hate for my hubby to push me around the entire trip in a manual chair.

A lot depends on when you are going. In general, at WDW, you should have no problem getting an ECV at the park if you are there within an hour of the park opening.

I'm not sure about Universal, but they do have the option to call ahead and reserve one,mac cording yo their website (unlike Disney, where it is all first come - first served).

But, one thing to be aware of is that ECVs are not allowed in most lines at Universal.

I would not totally throw out the idea of renting from off-site. Most of the companies rent dome ECVs that can be taken apart into several pieces that can be placed in a car trunk.

Thank you. I found a scooter rental place with a model that fits in the trunk of our tiny car rental.
