Yeah. I bought one of those.

It's great in theory. At WDW, it's a big pain in the behind. Also, unless you have some kind of huge suitcase that you are bringing, it won't fit. Folded, it still sticks up out of a golf bag.

Floppy hat, cooling towels, UV protective garments, battery operated fans. All QS eateries have free ice water as well.

Didn't realize it was that big!!! It would be a pain.

I think the resign why wheelchair do not have sunshade is thst most can not push them self and the shade would block the person pushing view. Can your mom hold a small umbrella

Maybe even a kid's umbrella? Looking briefly on amazon, saw one that is only about 2 ft wide when open and has the fat tips on the end.

But the idea of a hat may be best, holding an umbrella all day probably is no fun either.

Yes the umbrella that I used was very small I am small too so held it pretty much in my lap and it covered me enough to keep the sun off me. I was pushing my friend in s wheelchair one time and she opens the umbrella and was able to cover both of us ( yep I am that short or maybe my fried is that tall ) any ways it worked great for us and I have seen other wheelchair user with umbrella and they have worked fine too you just have to do what works for you.

At the same time, the umbrella used needs to be considerate of and careful around others. Still firmly believe a wide-brimmed hat is more effective. And water for everyone.
