Sorry in advance if this has been covered already but this is my first time on this forum.

I am traveling to WDW in January with my husband's family. My MIL has issues with her knees and ankles so she has trouble walking for an extensive period of time.

We are looking to rent her a wheelchair (NOT a scooter) and want to get your opinion on what rental company you have used and been happy with. When looking at their websites they all seem to be about the same but am sure that's not necessarily the case.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm also shopping around for my 1st offsite rental. the one decision I have made so far is to eliminate apple from consideration; I've read too many bad reports about them.

I've only ever rented my wheelchair from Apple Scooter. The chair has always been waiting at the resort, even when we check in early, and the chair has a been in excellent condition. I've read the recent concerns with the ECVs, but since the chair doesn't have a motor or battery to worry about, I don't think this will deter me from renting my chair from them again on our upcoming trip. I do recall seeing a lot of Scooterbug chairs on our last trip (you can recognize them by their color). They are similarly priced.

Thank you Minnie Mum, this was very helpful!

I used Apple as they were the best price overall for the length of my stay( ten days) they are also allowed to drop off directly to a Resort.
