Wheelchair rental for Disney Wonder???

We're renting a manual wheelchair for my 71 y/o father from Walker for our land portion of the land/sea vacation. Any suggestions where to rent one to take on the cruise portion of our trip? We go from BC to the Wonder via Tiffany Town Car and would like to have a wheelchair waiting for my father when we arrive at Port Caneveral. Thanks for any information --Mark.

Hi, I am suggesting that you call back Walker. Ask them to refer you to a company that will deliver the w/c to the port. I did this back in July of 2000, and for the life of me I can not remember the name of the company that brought the w/c to the port. Anyway, the company will deliver and pick up the w/c at the port. Cruise CM's will bring you the w/c when someone in your party goes to the info desk to request it. Easy as pie. Have a great cruise!

DCL told me that Brevard Medical 321-453-3370 will pu and drop off at the port. They are however more expensive than Walker's etc. What we decided to do was rent from Walkers and transport the chair ourselves using Tiffany. Tiffany has a limited number of vans to transport and they do not charge any more than the town cars. Hope this helps.
