Okay, since this will be my first trip "on wheels" and my search function isn't working--can anyone tell me where the wheelchair parade viewing areas are and how soon to "line up" before the parade? I know I should be able to figure this out but, I give up :) Thanks for your help :goodvibes

Yhe are in several areas along the route, just ask a cast member. There is one in Librety Square, one opposite Tomorrowland..and a few others. You may want to get a spot as soon as you see them setting up for the parade If you get a spot early enough, you can also get a good spot outside the designated areas.
Remember though, they usually have two "rows"...and able bodied companions are allowed in also. If you are in the back, you may need to remind someone standing in front of you that you are there, if they are blocking your view. We went to the parade twice. First time no problems..second time I had to politly ask a woman to move several times as she kept steping directly in front of us to take pictures. Finally her hubby (in a chair)noticed our frustration, took her arm and said, "No more pictures, you are blocking their view"

Another thing to think about. If you're doing SpectroMagic, that often has 2 viewings (ditto for the MVMCP parade). If you go to the 2nd viewing, it's almost always less crowded, making it MUCH easier to see. Just something to keep in mind.

Enjoy the Magic!

Thanks so much! I was planning on lining up about an hour ahead of time and on going to the 2nd parade when available, I just wasn't sure where to go. Thanks fo the suggestions :)

There are 3 spots in the MK: one is in Liberty Square (in front of a rock wall near the bell, across of Hall of Presidents), one is in the castle hub (across from the walkway to Tomorrowland), and one is in Town Square by the flagpole (across from City Hall/Fire House).

I'd suggest the viewing area opposite the Hall of Presidents in MK. This area is shaded by the Liberty Tree and if you position yourself just right, you can get a nice blast of air-con from the Hall of Presidents :goodvibes. It also has a wall behind you, to allow your able-bodied companions to sit down too.

As for other viewing areas, I'd suggest the Illuminations area between the two entrances to the World Showcase. Some of the others have trees around them, blocking views of the fireworks higher in the air. The Wishes fireworks don't have assigned spaces, so you need to stake out a position nice and early, and make sure no one can duck in front of you at the last minute. Some of the bridges leading away from the hub have good views; I like the ones leading to Tomorrowland, myself. I can't really recommend places for the other parades, as I've not seen them on wheels, but they're all marked on the park maps (look for a red rectangle with a wheelchair and a 'P' in it).

Get there reasonably early to make sure you get a good spot.

Have a great time! :thumbsup2
