Wheelchair fitting in these rental cars

We're up to arranging a rental car. There are some different model cars listed to what we have in Australia and therefore I'm not familiar with, so I'm after your advice if a standard rental wheelchair would comfortably fit in a Chevrolet Cruze, Malibu or Impala. Or we're better going with a 4WD/SUV like we use at home.

Hi, kylieh. Have you decided where you are going to rent the wheelchair because you could call and find out the
standard rental wheelchair
dimensions and weight is?

If it were me then to make sure, I would do a Google search of the specific brand and type of wheelchair to find out what the actual dimensions are.

The Chevrolet Cruze
L and LS sedans offer a 14.8-cubic-foot trunk, while the LT and Premier trims have a 13.9-cubic-foot trunk. Both numbers are above average among compact cars. The Cruze hatchback offers more space: 22.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 47.2 cubic feet with them folded.

The Malibu has a 15.8-cubic-foot trunk, which is a typical size for this class. The split-folding rear seat gives you some flexibility when you need to carry larger items. The trunk looks deep and roomy, but the high bumper makes it less convenient than it appears.

With 18.8 cubic feet of space, the Chevrolet Impala has a bigger trunk than many other large cars. The rear seats fold down to give you additional space for hauling large items. The trunk opening is a bit shallow, but since the floor is mounted fairly high up, it is pretty easy to load and unload your cargo.

Thank you so much @RaySharpton for your information and research, we really appreciated it. I'll do some more research to find out which will be the easiest for me to load into, and we'll do our best to rent that one.
