has anyone travelled recently or about to travel and know if they are allowing you to keep your gel filled wheelchair cushions for onboard the plane. I read that because they were gel filled there might be a problem. my son wouldn't be able to fly without sitting on his cushion (pressure sores). we arn't going until next year but it would be something we would need to think about

thanks

To be honest the rules next year may have changed yet again. Best bet is contact the airline you are travelling with and also the airpirt your are travelling through. Also speak to your GP about a letter to expalin the need for the cushion if similar restrcitions are still in place.
