Wheelchair Accessible room at CBR

We are visiting in May with my daughter in laws grandmother who is 84. She will be using a manual wheelchair and grab bars are helpful so we booked wheelchair accessible with tub and grab bars (2 queen beds with 5th sleeper). I am wondering if there is a door or curtain to the sink area to allow privacy when dressing? Or what doors are there in the bathroom area? Thanks!

Yes, there should be a door to allow privacy. The non-accessible rooms have "barn doors" that slide shut to close off the sink/closet area. I think wheelchair accessible rooms may have a sliding pocket door, and it's one large bathroom (not split). What specific type of room did you book? I didn't see "wheelchair accessible with tub" listed at CBR, but maybe it just wasn't coming up for me. So I wanted to point out that "Florida special accessible" rooms do not have grab bars in the tub/shower area, only at the toilet.

Thank you lanejudy. This is what the room type in MDE says: Std5th WChrAcc Tub OptHr 2Q CPD. I was thinking standard view with 5th sleeper, wheelchair accessible tub optional hearing, 2 queen (not sure about the CPD). I couldn't find any photos on their website for the Wheelchair accessible either, but did find the Florida special room. She will be staying in the room with my son and daughter in law whom she lives with. They are used to helping her bathe etc. but with extra space in the bathroom will be helpful and grab bars would be a plus. I was hoping there was some type of door style for privacy. Again, Thank you!

I was in a wheelchair room in Jamaica last March and the bathroom had the sliding barn doors. I also asked for a bench seat which they brought to the room. It was one of those that have 2 legs outside the tub so I could sit and swing my legs over.

Thank you bushdianee! We will request the bench seat, that will be very helpful. My daughter in law would love the barn doors so hoping they get a room with those as well.
