Wheat/Gluten free bread where do you buy?

Hi all I am hoping you can help me out with Where to buy Wheat or Gluten free bread last year when we were in the USA we did not find any in the supermarkets and i was wondering where you all buy your bread from for our upcoming trip.

Whole Foods should carry it. I don't know how much it is because I don't buy it.

We usually buy ours at Whole Foods, Fruitful Yield, Trader Joe's or gluten-free specialty stores. Price varies by brand and store.

Some grocery stores arer also now selling GF breads... usually found in a section for organic foods, gluten-free foods, or adult/special nutrition.

I buy it at Shoprite, but Whole Foods will have it, or Trader Joe's. It's usually frozen, and dd prefers Food for Life brown rice bread (pink packaging). I have yet to find GF bread that tastes good not toasted.

I have also found it in Stop and Shop and I always pay $5.99 to $7.99 per small loaf. It does not taste good unless toasted. We have purchase Udi's but the Ener-G stuff went right into the trash. Also, Uncle Guisepes has tons of Gluten Free but I am not sure if they are a national chain.

Trader Joes has a great selection. The one I get was $5.99 but they have a lot of variety. However if your upcoming trip is to FL, there is not a Traders Joes there yet, so you may need to go to Whole Foods. They have one in Orlando and one in Winter Park.

Have you tried Udi's?

Udi's - or another GF bread - around here is carried by most regular grocery stores as well as the above type specialty stores. About $5 a loaf. Our Trader Joes usually doesn't have GF bread or GF noodles - I think that around here, people don't have to go out of their way for it, so they don't sell much.

I think most Publix supermarkets carry different varieties for around $5- $6 a loaf.

I love the Udi's bread. It does not need to be toasted to taste good. I usually get it from Trader Joes for $5.

I eat Udi's Bread. It's my favorite. I've tried almost every other Gluten Free Bread and it's by far the best. I get mine at Kroger or Whole Foods for 5.99 per loaf. I don't use much so I keep it in the freezer until I need it and it keeps well if you do it that way.

Thank you all i figured there would have to be some my son just ate rice cakes last time or things that didn't have bread.
We are going all over the place for 38 days not just Florida so that is very helpful!
I will no longer think that the $4.99-$5.99 that we pay for Wheat free bread that is very nice is to expensive!
