What is your favorite at LeCellier?

cheddar cheese soup, Pretzel bread .......prime rib is excellent ....so is the salmon dish. Our grandkids had the half of a chicken and they said it melted in their mouths too...Hubby likes any meat dish ....
For dessert we have had the chocolate mousse, and the sorbet that was sugarless.....very good..Cream brulee is also a popular dessert too

I like to get the filet mignon with the maple barbeque sauce (instead of the white truffle butter sauce) and cream cheese mashed potatoes (instead of mushroom risotto).

We just ate there Thursday night. The best item BY FAR was the New York Strip ... it was absolutely delicious! Our server recommended it, and now I know why. I tried to order the filet with the BBQ maple glaze, but was told they don't do that any more; so I got the mushroom filet, and it just wasn't as tasty, though still fork tender. The prime rib was delicious as always, but my DH didn't care all that much for his coffee-rubbed Kansas City strip. He was wishing he had ordered the fabulous New York strip instead; my son was the lucky one that night. And as usual, the breadsticks (all three flavors) and cheese soup were spot on.

Their Prime Rib is wonderful! I love prime rib and consider myself a expert and theirs is absolutely one of the tenderest, most natural tasting I have had. They don't spice it all up and let the natural taste of the meat come thru. It is not "heavy meaty" tasting, no that isn't what I mean. They don't "hide" or decorate the meats natural flavor.

And the cream cheese mashed potatoes, those have to be tried!!! MMmmmMMMMM

The Mushroom Filet with Risotto!

My husband had the NY strip steak and I had the filet mignon. We tasted each other's steak and both agreed the filet was the best.

My 4 year old loved the pretzel bread.

I could eat the pretzel bread all day, it was so good.

I had the cheese soup (ggod as a dip fo the bread!) It was great!

I had the fillet with mashed potatoes insted of the risotto, sooo good! Best steak I have ever had.

By dessert I was too full, but ordered the Moose for my DD who got the kids meal.


It was an outstanding meal!

DS10 had the Lump Crab and Corn Custards appetizer, Salmon 2 ways and Choc Moose. All dishes were amazing! I had Cheddar Cheese Soup, Mushroom Filet and Creme Brulee - equally wonderful. We were a party of 8 and we were all so happy with our meals!

our ressies are at 2:45, I was looking at the lunch menu and don't see the potatoes on it, I wonder if we will be able to get them.

Can't see there being a problem, we went for lunch at 11:30 as I recall (it was early) and got them no problem.

The steak I had, the Mushroom Filet, was no big woop. But I would go back for all of the above items in a heartbeat!

I had the mushroom risotto last week and the rice was crunchy. All I could think of was Gordon Ramsay screaming about crunchy risotto!

They have a side order of Macaroni and Cheese on their lunch menu that is delicious (and a huge portion - next time no sandwich, just macaroni ). It's baked in an iron skillet with bread crumbs on top. Yum!

Thanks for reminding me I hadn't made an ADR for lunch there yet. I just snagged a lunch on the 31st. I can't wait!

dh said the NY strip was wonderful
I had the salmon and enjoyed it
we got the cheddar cheese soup and it was ok though we were not bowled over
we also ordered a side of mac and cheese which was heaven in a dish to
me, but dh did not like it as much
we were too full for dessert probally because we filled up on the bread

That is funny because my husband thinks the coffee-rubbed Kansas City strip was the best! He really enjoyed it and said he was getting it again when we go back. Maybe it was just the day, you know how some things are great one day and bad the next! I like the filet the best, but I get mashed potatoes instead or risotto.

I agree! Their caesar salad is absolutely delicious! I also love their cheese soup & mushroom filet. DSis really enjoyed the salmon, DMom loved the creamed spinach (but hated the NY strip), & DH couldn't get enough of the steak salad.
