We have a really bad thunderstorm right now.

Hot, hazzy and muggy. The humidity is awful today. I'm glad I don't have any rain today though.

At 0945 at DFW it is 84 degrees, 6 Miles visibiltiy, Haze, Few clouds at 30000 feet, Altimeter is 29.95.

Supposed to get to over 100 today and Level Orange Ozone alert. No wind at all.

Started off with early morning thunder and rain. I'm happy to report it's now blue skies and warm and humid. With the crummy weather we've been having all summer, this is AWESOME.

It's been raining like heck all morning. We are getting the very edge of hurricane Alex. We are hoping it keeps on it's current path heading back out east to the Atlantic Ocean. Everyone cross your fingers and sprinkle some pixie dust because I'm supposed to fly out in the morning to Washington state for my parents 25th anniversary party. If it doesn't turn quickly enough my flight may very well be grounded for several hours to a day or 2!!!

Someone post at 9:45 it was 85 in DFW...an hour later it's now 89 degress. It feels SOOO much hotter!! On a day like today, I don't even want to leave the house! It will be over 100 by 5:00.

61 degrees here at 9 AM. It won't get much past 75 today. It's foggy again today. We're pretty far inland, so the fog will burn off. (fog=natural air-conditioning!) We've had a rather mild summer so far - we have notoriously hot Augusts & Septembers.

It is about 85 degrees. The wind has picked up and I can hear thunder off to the south. That would mean it is probably raining in the Magic Kingdom about now. The last couple of days have been cloudy due to the influence of hurricane Alex which is now making its way up the east coast.
