Sitting here killing time before I go and start scraping the windows and getting the vehicles ready for the family to go to work.

We had about 1/2- 1 inch of freezing rain last night and now this morning it looks like at least 2-3 inches of snow and it continues at a furious rate.

I need SUMMER.

Hope all those in SoCal are safe.

Jack

Raining pretty steadily here in Phoenix. I've been watching the HoJo mattercam a bit this morning, and it looks cloudy with spots of sun, but windy.

It is surprisingly sunny but windy right now at my house in San Diego.

It poured all night, and the wind was so bad it woke DH and DS up (who usually can both sleep through anything).

At the moment it's comparatively calm, but we're supposed to get more wind and rain later today and tonight.

I plan on staying in and watching Disney movies while snuggling with my little one!

This morning it has been raining off and on, and we even saw a bit of sun (gone now). It feels like it has been raining for days here! (SF Bay Area.)

Sacramento area here. Rain, rain and more rain off and on for days now. I'm really looking foward to my trip in a couple weeks.

Sounds like a pattern...rain off and on, cloudy and cold here in Chico, CA. Typical January weather! I can't wait until spring time!!!!

It's snowing here South of Boston, snows, stops, so it has accumulated more than and inch or two. I just keep reminding myself spring is almost here

Well... looking out the Desert Inn and Suites lobby window.... it is VEEEERRRY WINDY! It's not been stereotypicial Cailfornia weather! I left Oregon to get AWAY from the wind and rain! :rotfl2: Oh... and cheap dollar store ponchos... worth NOTHING in a steady rain! Too thin! The thicker the better! lol. Good thing I packed my rain slicker! (Now... just to remember to bring it into the park!) Hopefully the wind will die down soon so we can go to the park... if not... I'm thinking this is our day off. We got 6 day hoppers thinking we would, for one day, do nothing but stay in the hotel room and rest... I'm thinking this is the day! lol.

So... Moral of the story? DO NOT GO TO DISNEYLAND IN JANUARY!!! TOO COLD! HAHA :rotfl2: (We're having fun anyways! lol... we're from Oregon... Rain doesn't phase us! haha!)

I feel like I've been taking a shower for a month straight. Nothing but rain here and I'm so tired of it.
DM ..I have never been able to get the HOJO camera to work. I always get a red x. Any tips?

IT WON'T STOP SNOWING!!!

It has been snowing very steady since yesterday morning. We have about 2 feet in our front yard, some from days ago that has not melted and now we have added about 7 inches more!

Ugh. I can't wait until either spring or Disneyland. Cold and snow are just NOT fun anymore.

Edited 6:21pm; Final snow count since yesterday, 11.5 inches. 9-12 MORE inches expected by the end of this week. Oh Goody...

2 feet holy moly, we had that years ago in the 70s, that is something that is never forgotten.
Just keep repeating, " Spring will be here soon" and before you know it it will

It's been raining off and on all day, hard at times, and windy at times. I think the high got up to 62 but it's 58 right now. I'll bet the rain ponchos have been selling briskly at DL.

In Richmond, B.C. (a suburb of Vancouver), it's been sunny and a warm 4 deg. Celsius. We were supposed to get a snowstorm but the system passed right by us. People are playing golf here.

Our local mountains are getting a dumping of snow however, which is great for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing.

Well here it's clear blue skies with a slight breeze, we'll have a top today of 34c (93f). :lmao:

I will admit I'll miss this beautiful weather when we head over there shortly, but Disneyland is just too good to pass up!

Here is Estacada Oregon we have 8 inches of snow today...Yeah! We haven't had this much snow in a number of years, and we're loving it!

Well we were having a pretty mild winter until now. We had blizzard like conditions today and into Monday. With the wind chill it is -40. I was depressed coming home to winter from our Christmas trip, but now I am really missing it.
Early Spring!!!!??? Early Spring!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was raining off and on earlier today, hard at times. We're supposed to have some strong winds tonight and scattered showers.
