What's your theme park scent?

I usually have a vacation stash b&b shower gel and lotion that I only use on vacay- I love doing that and it is funny that I thought I was the only nut out there - good to see that there is a whole case of us nuts!!

I do this too - another vote for Cotton Blossom! I am going today to start searching for a new "January trip" lotion. I find that the lotion - rather than the spray - is more subtle and isn't as strong! Glad to see that others do this!

I did this for my March trip (but not my Oct trip) - heard about it on the Disboards, too. I used a plug in from Bath and Body Works in Bartlett Pear. Also, anytime I smell Laila perfume it brings me right back to WDW!

Laila is my favorite perfume! I get so many positive comments on it, people want to know where they can get it too!

I pick up a bottle every year as it usually lasts me that long. It can also be purchased at www.laila.com.

Amen to that.
I never wear anything scented in the parks since it makes me so nauseated to smell scents on other people.

::yes:: But I know people still do so I bring my allergie medicene anyway.

Hi

I like the A/C smell in the attractions. It smells like mold and carpet. If I smelled this at home I'd be upset, but at WDW I love it. It's all a part of the experience. And when I smell that smell let's say at a mall, I'm taken right back to WDW.

Does anyone else know the smell I'm talking about? Florida humid A/C smell.

I'm with you there, Uncle Albert! I like the smells and scents of each individual park, resort, restaurant...even the not-so-pleasant ones! (although the unwashed and overperfumed I can do without). But I do understand the allure of making "smell memories", so instead of bringing a scent to WDW, I try to bring something with a scent HOME from WDW...and that does it for me!

OMG, I suddenly feel part of the crowd! LOL!! :thumbsup2
For my honeymoon in '98 a friend gave me a bath & body works gift pack with the Flowering Herbs scent. I took it to Disney with us. After that, everytime I smelled it I thought of our honeymoon at the world.

A few years ago, B&BW offered the scent again, I bought a body lotion & shower gel and put them back for my next Disney trip. I just this morning put it in the suitcase for Friday.

I honestly thought that I was the only goofy scent gal out there, but apparently I am in distinguished company!! :rotfl2: :cloud9:

I do that too! I put that deep tanning oil on during the winter also, that reminds me of summer and Florida. I have some orange type body spray from Avon that I brought this year, it reminds me of that orange perfume that you used to be able to buy in all the gift shops in Florida. Don't think they sell it at Disney though. I have a bar of Mickey soap that I smell everytime I walk by it. Its on my bureau.

Um, I'm not sure thats how I would describe it, but I agree!
Like in all the indoor rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, etc. they really do have "that smell."
Its great though!

I love The noel one, I have a bottle. :goodvibes And no, I've never done it, but that's a great idea!!

I picked out some to take special on my honeymoon.
The three in one pumpkin one.
Fitting for a Thanksgiving honeymoon I think.
If only they had a matching spray or lotion.
I have the pumpkin spray and lotion from a while back, but I think that they are different.

I had something to say about the people who want us to not wear our perfumes and stuff when we go, but I will refrain.
I never wear a ton anyway and I will continue to do so.

Sprt of, I always wear coconut lime verbena on vacation. I also bought a new scent to bring to the hospital when I had each of my 3 kids.

I'm gonna have to think long and hard about this one...I've never done it before, but I think I will for my January trip...now which one??? Hmmm...

In Italy at Epcot I bought some Cologne. It is by Aqua di Parma. And it smells Like Oranges. Arancia I think it is called. My wife would not let me buy it until last year. She felt guilty for buying a lot of clothes. And now when I were it I'm reminded of the trip, the weather and all the fun we had.

Well, I really don't wear scents, but I highly recommend OFF. It is very effective.

I thought you were going to ask what scent reminds me of a themepark, and I was going to say the scent when I am in the jungles. I am taken right to Adventureland. Life is an adventure, anyway, so I think it quite appropriate.

Alright... thanks for adding another ritual to my Disney OCD self! ;)

I usually take VS Amber Romance since that is the scent I wear most often, but I may have to rethink that now. I guess the scent will depend on when we go. For example... I don't wear Pumpkin during the summer or Coconut during the winter. Since the next trip is planned for February, I will have to consider the 'winter' scents such as Vanilla Bean Noel or one of the new seasonal ones.
