I've seen a couple of Thanksgiving threads but I don't think we've had a menu thread (sorry if we did). Anyway, we will be having about 20 people at my mom's house and will be having:

Turkey (1 fried/1 oven)
Stuffing (this is the best!!!)
Cranberry sauce
Potatoes
Broccoli
Dinner rolls
Baked ziti
Sausage
Pepperoni
Meatballs

Pumpkin pie
Lemon Meringue pie
Apple Pie
Cheesecake

How about you :)

We are heading to BILs but you just made me hungry!

I'm doing dinner this year, 8 or 11 people. We are having:

Italian Shooters (olives stuffed with meats, cheeses, roasted garlic, etc)
Nuts & Sesame Sticks

Wine, Beer & Cider

Roast Turkey
Giblet Gravy
Apple, Onion & Celery Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes
Mashed Turnips
Creamed Spinach
Creamed Onions
Baking Powder Biscuits with Honey Butter

Pumpkin, Apple & Pecan Pie

Yum.

Turkey - I'm debating between a whole turkey and a turkey breast. I will preorder a fresh one from The Fresh Market this week.

Stuffing - I'm trying a new kind I sampled at Williams-Sonoma.

Gravy - While I will try to repeat my once in a lifetime success with turkey gravy, I'm using a Williams-Sonoma turkey gravy base I sampled - it is so delicious, I would like to drink it as a beverage!!!

Carrot and celery sticks

Cranberry sauce - We are a jellied canned cranberry sauce family. We like it right out of the can, with the little marks on it where the can is ruffled. We slide the whole can out and cut it into slices.

Green beans
Potatoes au gratin
Candied yams
mashed potatoes
lima beans
Squash casserole - Also a new recipe I sampled at Williams-Sonoma. Gee, can you tell I was hungry that day???? DD13 LOVED the squash casserole, though, and requested it, so it will be added to the feast.

Dinner rolls and butter

Some kind of pie for dessert - we always have a pie but we eat so much at the dinner table that we never have room for dessert until much later in the day.

I'll be serving late lunch for 8 at my home. Here's what we are having:

Pre-Meal Drinks
Cranberry Bog Champagne Drinks

Appetizer
Cheese Ball
Deviled Eggs
Baked Cranberry Brie Bites in puff pastry

Meal
Honey Baked Ham (I'd prefer turkey, but one guest doesn't eat turkey)
Sweet potato casserole
Spinach salad with bacon dressing
Homemade cranberry sauce
Broccoli rice casserole
Green beans
Crescent rolls with cranberry butter
Wine and beer

Dessert
Pumpkin pie w/ whipped cream
Caramel pecan pie

Oh that Williams Sonoma kills me. I just dropped a chunk o' change on stuff from their new catalog. I have no where to store the big ole slow cooker that you can brown meats on the stove top with, but it didn't stop me.

2 fried turkeys
4 fried chickens
10 pounds deep fried potatos
1 ham

other stuff the women folk fix!!!:thumbsup2 :cool2: pirate:
