DF Sean and I are trying to decide on our first dance song. It's down to either

"I can Love you like that" By John Michael Montgomery"
OR

"Wishes" By Peabo Bryson and Kimberly Locke

I really like the message behind "I can love you like that" and "Wishes" was the song played during the fireworks at DLR the night we got engaged. "Wishes" is much faster paced than "I can love you like that" but not so fast that we can't dance to it.

Between these two songs which would you play for your first dance? Thanks!:goodvibes

I would go with "I can love you like that", but i may be biased, i love LOVE John Michael Montgomery, and it's such a romantic song!

Good luck choosing!

Thanks for your vote! Yes it really is a romantic song, I just adore it! DF isn't huge on Country music and he's leaning more toward "Wishes" but he has said that ultimately whatever I want to use is fine.:lovestruc I knew I was marrying him for a reason!:lovestruc

If you really like 'I Can Love You Like That' but your hubby-to-be doesn't like country, you could use the other version by the soul boy band All-4-One. They also did 'I Swear' which I noticed Montgomery has as well. Is that any help? :confused3 :)

Figaro- "Wishes" is the song they play during the fireworks.....of course it's a little different since they add the sounds for the different attractions but they basic lyrics are the same.

Madam Mim- [LOOOOVE your name btw]:thumbsup2 I have heard their version.....it's ok but I like Montgomery's better. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I ve got Wishes on cd so im sure i know the song you mean, its the one they play after Jiminy says "Goodnight".
I dont know the names of the 2 singers who sing it, just know its a man & a woman so if this is the track you re referring to the i totally vote for that. I love that track  & play it a lot on my ipod. It always puts a smile on my face & brings me straight back to Disney every time i hear it.
