Hey everyone!

You know it's getting close when you are thinking about stuff like this. I was just wondering what everyone was using for their "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue?" Are you using one item? Or maybe four separate items?

I don't really have any ideas for something old or something borrowed.

I think I'm going to have my something blue be my toes. Yep, I wear blue nail polish on my toes practically all the time. And I was thinking of maybe adding a toe-ring with blue.

I am wearing a lot of new things. But I think I am going to specifically dub my earrings as my something new.

Please share your items. Maybe they will help spark some ideas.

Well, my daughter told me that "I" counted as my old (gotta love her), but I also carried a light blue rosary that my grandmother gave me as a small child. That also counted towards my "blue", though I also had a blue mickey anklet. My :new" was my dress, shoes, and necklace. And I looked for months and couldn't find earrings I liked, so a few days before the wedding I called my MOH and asked her to bring something (for my "borrowed") ...and they were PERFECT !

I loved finding the items for this, so I thought I'd share mine....
Something old: I had my husband's monogrammed diaper pin from when he was a baby pinned to my slip. I also had a piece of my mother's wedding dress sewn into the inside of mine.
Something new: My wedding dress
Something borrowed: I borrowed a BEAUTIFUL pair of earrings from my MOH
Something blue: I purchased blue "bloomers" on line. They were soooo cute!
Good luck finding yours!:yay:

My something old is my grandmother's wedding ring which i'll pin on the inside of my dress (its way too big to wear, and its yellow gold while everything else I have is platinum). My something new will be my necklace and earrings, and my dress probably counts too! My borrowed is MOH's tiara from her wedding. My blue will be my flowers, the lettering on my garter, and i think i'm going to dye my crinoline blue too (but I'm waiting on Caryndisneydiva to do hers so she can give me tips) :rolleyes1 Also dont forget about a lucky sixpense in your shoe... put a penny in your left shoe!

something old- My grandfathers cameo that he bought when he was in the service during the korean war

something new- dress, shoes, crinoline, etc...

something borrowed- my mothers cameo which i will pin to my bouquet handle

something blue- a blue ring that my grandmother gave me

Something old: My grandfather's picture (he passed away) inside my old childhood locket. I'm tying it into my bouquet.

Something new: A diamond "bride's pendant" from my mother to wear on my wedding day.

Something borrowed: Haven't figured this one out...

Something blue: A little blue boy inside my Clemson Tiger's garter (DF and I are both fans!!)

Something Old: haven't figured it out yet!!

Something New: My dress

Something Borrowed: a pearl necklace from my grandmother's cousin (haven't thought about it enough to figure out what relation she is to me!!)

Something Blue: my grandmother's blue topaz and diamond bracelet (could also be my sonething borrowed!!)
