What's your scent?

Today I'm wearing B&BW Cherry Vanilla, yesterday I wore VS Enchanted Apple, I also love B&BW Warm Vanilla Sugar, I have these that I wear daily. On special occasions I switch between actual perfumes I have, I have a small sampling of small bottles of VS perfumes. :)

Reading this thread, I feel like I've been living under a perfume rock. I had no idea there was a scent called, "Ralph." I'm actually shocked that there is. :scared1:

And I can't imagine anybody wants to smell like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton or Jennifer Lopez. Yes, I know it's just their name on the box, but still. I'd never look at those people and think, "Gee, I want to smell like them."

For the past year or two, I've been using either Origin's Ginger Twist or B&BW's Sparkling Peach. I need to look for the two lemon scents mentioned upthread. I love citrus scents.

I am all over the place with fragrances. :rotfl:

Right now, this very minute I am wearing ED HARDY for WOMEN! :lovestruc
This fragrance was created with special effects and colorful sensations inspired by the dramatic and cool Ed Hardy tattoo art. Bright and tantalizing citrus effects of Bergamot & Mandarin are touched by the aromatic expression of Thuja and the sharp bite of Clary Sage for added zest. This opening is the perfect preview to a colorful Mint Julep cocktail that matches up with Ozone for a psychedelic explosion of color and effervescence. The result is of super refreshing mint mixed with colorful bubbles that provides a provocative edginess.

I laughed at this description of it as I have no idea what they are saying...:rotfl:

You better stay away from Jon Gosselin!;):rotfl:

LOL! I don't have any of my celebrity scents because I want to smell like them!!!! I have them because either they were given to me as gifts, or because I picked them up in the store, smelled them, liked them, and bought them.

Thanks for having a sense of humor about it, Angel. I used to work for Unilever, so I know these people get paid to endorse something they have nothing to do with actually creating.

Do you ever watch HSN? I'm addicted to checking the shopping channels myself. Anyhow, there's a woman on there named Marilyn Miglin who sells cosmetics and fragrances.

I personally don't understand why you'd buy a scent from a TV outlet, but what I really don't get is why HSN would expect anybody to buy a fragrance based on what this woman looks like. She's fairly old, and all I can think when I see her is that she must be bathed in My Sin or some other "old lady" fragrance.

You are cracking me up!

"old lady fragrance" :rotfl2:

Celebrity Scents- I doubt any of them actually wear them. They probably douse themselves in more expensive perfumes! See now, though, this is why I hate admitting that I do wear Paris Hilton's Can Can! I thought it smelled good when a coworker brought back perfume cards after doing some Xmas shopping and couldn't decide on a fragrance. Seriously, I love the way it smells and think it really works with me! I had a man ask me to write it down so he could get it for his wife and can't tell you how many times people have said, "Someone smells good! Who is it?"...I will totally take the credit!

Paintnolish, fragrances often do smell different from one person to another. Speaking of 70's and 80's, there was one called "Cachet" that advertised it would do just that.

Obsession is one that I find horrible on me, but I love it on one of my sisters-in-law who wears it all the time.

I have another SIL who wears a fragrance I can't remember the name of that is sold exclusively at Neiman Marcus. I'm sure it costs a small fortune.

This particular SIL is a dear person, but she's got this snobby thing going where everything she buys has to be exclusive somehow. She does Thanksgiving every year and buys a fresh-killed turkey from the poultry store because the store brand or Butterball won't do. I hate her turkey! It's too gamey, so I wind up baking the free turkey I get from ShopRite over the weekend to get my Thanksgiving fix.

She does the same thing with chicken. She can't eat Purdue or Tyson like the rest of America--only fresh stuff from the poultry store. I went there with her once for chicken, and the thing was still warm after I got it home. I was so creeped out by that, I just couldn't eat it.

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture, it's currently my absolute favorite scent.

I also wear Daisy by Marc Jacobs and Nina by Nina Ricci.

I love philosophy fragrances, especially Amazing Grace.

I use Bond #9's Scent of Peace on special occasions.

In BBW, I like the white citrus and Japanese cherry blossom.

My old standby that I go back to all the time is Clinique's Aromatics Elixir.

I wear my all time favorite: Pleasures by Estee Lauder

(Someone mentioned Laila, I always get a squirt of Laila when at Epcot - Norway. Smells soooo good. Come to think of it, I'll be at Disneyworld for Christmas this year...hmmmm...I have a great idea....)

I have a hard time with most perfumes, especially floral ones. They either give me a wicked headache and/or make my nose itch unbearably.

The only one I could wear for a long time was Obsession, which I still wear in the winter sometimes, and still love.

Most of the time now, I wear Arancia di Capri by Blu Mediterraneo that I got from Epcot. It has a lovely orange scent.
