I usually go by Jen or Jenny. At work I use Jennifer because it's easier to hear. We yell a lot at work so if someone calls out 'Jennifer!' I know they are talking about me even if I only catch the last part. Not many people have names that end in 'fer'.

My last name is strange, very strange. A good majority of you guys actually know it because I have you added on facebook...

Since my first name's so uncommon, I don't even feel comfortable posting my middle name.

It's pronounced Mary Claire.
But my mom didn't want two separate names, or hyphenated, and didn't like the way "yc" looks in cursive, so Mariclaire it was.

I'm actually pretty fond of it.
I've never met a person with the same name.

But everyone calls me Mickey. Ever since I was a newborn, and probably always will :]

I like my name, but it's so common. There are like 5 other Samantha Jo's in my school. My mom was going to name me Samantha Joann, but my dad wasn't in the room when they asked the name and she didn't want to change it without asking him, so I got Samantha Jo.

Until I was 14 or 15 I'd never heard of anyone having the name Brianna, and even now that I have, rarely do they pronounce it the way I do (I don't pronounce it bree-auhh-na, I pronounce it bree-A(like the a in apple)-nna).

My last name is obviously weird...I pronounce it zap-key because it's easy to say to other people and for them to remember, but that's not the correct way to say it.

It's sounds weird.

Bree-A-nna is quite common here.
