What's your Point?

1. 185 pts at AKV

2. Prefer 1 BR for the 4 of us, would gladly do a studio if we ever take another trip without the kids, will get a 2 BR when we take extra family.

3. Not yet. Our first DVC trip is SSR Feb. 09 on developer points. :woohoo:

1. How many total points do you have? 180 at BWV

2. Do you prefer Studios - One Bedrooms - Two Bedrooms - Grand Villas? Prefer at least a One Bedroom, have stayed in all but a Grand Villa.

3. Do you use your points for off-property stays (Cruises, Disney Collection, Adventurer, Passport, Conceirge)?
We have used points at Disneyland Hotel, and once for a couple of nights at Coronado Springs. Don’t plan to use them outside DVC for awhile.

We have 600 points accumulated over time....we joined DVC in 1995

Prefer 1 and 2 bedrooms.......even our kids (28 and 30) are spoiled and prefer the 1 bedroom to the studios even though they are really very nice. We all enjoy the kitchen/living room area. It is a great place to be together.

The only time we have ventured out of DVC is when our son went to the Plaza in NYC, which was reserved about 1 week out and was very easy.

1. 335 points
2. 1BR units - usually for 10-12 nights often spanning 2 weekends. (It is just the way things work out for us.)
3. We used points at the Grand Californian Hotel for 3 nights over the Memorial Day Weekend (Fri-Sun nights). It was a great use of 102 points!!

1. How many total points do you have?
380 (240VB & 140 SSR)
2. Do you prefer Studios - One Bedrooms - Two Bedrooms - Grand Villas?
One bedroom used most often, GV once & two bedroom once
3. Do you use your points for off-property stays (Cruises, Disney Collection, Adventurer, Passport, Conceirge)?
We like going to HH, third trip planned for Sept. 08, we done cruises and Adventures by Disney but not with points.

I have 200 points all at SSR

I prefer 1-bedrooms (so I borrow a lot:rotfl: )

Have never used them to stay outside of WDW, and don't have any plans to in the foreseeable future.

1. 945 points total: 150 OKW, 150 VB, 90 HH, 555 SSR.

2. We usually stay in studios, the entire month of Feb.

3. We have traded out for cruises, 2 other land places and we do go to HHI and VB.

2. Do you prefer Studios - One Bedrooms - Two Bedrooms - Grand Villas?
3. Do you use your points for off-property stays (Cruises, Disney Collection, Adventurer, Passport, Conceirge)?
1. 250 at SSR
2. Usually studios but upgrade to a 1BR if there are more than two people in the room.
3. Stayed 5 nights at AKL pre-villas (and pre-exchange fee) and 4 nights at Paradise Pier last year. Would love to do a cruise on points but not sure I'll get my value on that exchange.

May get a few more points to allow for non-WDW trips while not losing my ability to visit the World at least once a year:wizard:

We have 250 points. 150 - VWL and 100 - SSR

We started off staying in a 1 bedroom so there was no going back and trying a studio. The past three trips we stayed in a 2 bedroom and after doing that there's no going back to a 1 bedroom now! We only used our points once outside of the DVC villas and that was to try the Grand Floridian. :)

We have 185 points @ SSR. We have a studio booked for F&W in October then a one bedroom for an eight day trip in April.

We hope to use points in a few years to stay at the DL Resort. Perhaps GC or DL Hotel.

1. 430, all at SSR (though I may be adding 70 at BLT/CRV/KTR/the new SuperWalmart-Garage)
2. Studios so I can stay longer though I do like the space of 1bedrooms. Have done 2bedrooms when taking family, but I think I'd go into cardiac arrest spending points on a GV.
3. No. That's why we own Marriott.

Get it? What's your point? :rotfl2:

The question is - how many points does everyone have? Please post answers to these questions:

1. 260pts at SSR (160 originally then added another 100 pts 3 weeks later!)
2. Prefer 2 bedrooms but usually try to book 1 bedrooms to save points
3. When we move to Orlando in 2 years we will probably use our points to book at outside locations. Hoping to book HHI for a trip this year or next.

We have 825 points: 335 at BWV (3 contracts); 250 at SSR (2 contracts); and 240 at AKV (1 contract). We have a September use year. We are intrigued by BLT, but we might hold off on any add-on until the Hawaii project comes available.

When we travel with all four of us (2 dads, 2 daughters), we always get a 2-bedroom. When DCUP (OK, that looks somewhat silly, but what would we call a Darling Civil Union Partner?) and I travel alone, we go for a 1-bedroom to get the better bathroom. We do book studios for friends and family traveling with us.

We have used our points for cruises (4 of them thus far), hotel stays at WDW and DLR and resort stays outside of Disney (Manhattan and Keystone, CO).

1 - 150 VWL points currently, and we're waiting for ROFR on 60 VB points
2 - Prefer 1 bedroom. DH suggested we could just stay in a studio this upcoming trip when I told him we were running out of points, and he got THE LOOK.
3 - Nope, never used for anything else. Have transferred to other members several times, though - back before I found out I loved the Epcot resorts and started using more points.

I'll start:
1. 175 at Saratoga (hoping to add more with BLT)
2. Generally Studios - but we like the extra room in a One Bedroom
3. We've used our points to stay at the Grand for 2 nights

:thumbsup2

1) We have 310: 150 at SSR and 160 at AKL....of course i'd love to have more but I'm afraid of having too high MF dues each month
2) as of now I've only stayed in 1 bedrooms all 5 times I've used my DVC
3) all points used at WDW but I once used the points for a one night stat at DL GC.
