We will Be Staying at the Tropicana in on August 10 through the 13 never stayed there before only at the Best western Park Place inn.
Hows The Service There?
Will the Rooms Help you with a good night sleep after long days?

Also i wanna do a character Breakfest. Hows the Mikey and friends?
Hows The Goofys Kitchen?

Also what number do i call to make a reservation for a character Meal

We stayed at the Tropicana in March. We enjoyed our stay there....but if you can bring your own pillows.....DO!!
The rooms have double curtains which make the room very dark (and we had a blinky light outside our window & we never saw it). Even with a lot of activity in the parking lot, we never heard it in our room.
We had an issue with the toilet & management was very curtious & sent maintenance up immediately.

We would definately stay there again!!!

As for the character meals:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Goofy's Kitchen....this is our family's favorite!! The food selection is unbelievable & the interaction & games that Goofy does with the kids is very fun.

Minnie & Friends is a great one for classic characters (pooh, hook, minnie, etc.) & if you hit at a good time, you can see a ton of characters. The buffet is smaller than Goofy's & we've never been thrilled with the food there, but the omelet bar is delicious!

Ariel's Grotto does a family style breakfast which was very good!! So if you have princess lovers, this restaurant is a must!! (they also do lunch & dinner).

Lilo-n-Stitch is a very small character meal. We only saw Lilo & Stitch in the restaurant, & then Daisy Duck & Minnie at the photo op area. But that was ok......Lilo & Stitch came to our table multiple times thru out our meal & they kept our kids laughing the whole time. We really enjoyed this meal!

We've never done the Storyteller's breakfast but have read that it's also a smaller meal with more of the animal/forest/jungle characters. We hope to try this one at some point.

Hope that helps a bit. If you're bored, my trip report has reviews & pics from our March trip........the link is below in my signature.

Hope you have a great trip!!

I have a quick question for all that have stayed at the tropicana in. Did they let you park your car there till it was check in time if you arrived early and when the day to check out came by did they let you park your car still

I've never stayed there before but I have a friend that has stayed a couple of times. They like it pretty well. To answer your question about parking...Yes, they let them park their car in the parking lot before check in. They were told if they stayed after they checked out they would have to pay to leave their car there after 12:00. I can't remember how much it was but I can find out if you want.

Ok thats awsome if its cheaper then disneyland parking i rather leave my car there let me know as soon as you find out that you

I've stayed at the Tropicana twice (10/08 & 5/09). I chose it originally because of it's proximity to the park. It's basic, clean and safe. I also liked how we could park at the hotel until our room was ready. I think it's a great value also. I plan on staying there again for our next trip.

No info about the character meals though!

Thank you Fantasy Girl i was wondering if they let you leave your car there before check in i usually stayed next door at the best western this will be my first at the tropicana i will get getting there about 8 or 9 am i would hate to have to pay for parking for half the day at the mickey and friend parking structure

We got to the Tropicana Inn about 10am & was able to "pre" check-in & get our parking pass. It was no problem.....can't help on the day you leave....we were up & going by 7am.
