What's your night plan when not seeing F! or WOC?

Just curious what other people like to do when they are not watching F!, WOC, or fireworks. Our family decided last night to cancel both or WOC DP and F! HB dining. If we aren't doing nighttime shows we tend to hide in DCA in Radiator Springs or previously Bugs Land as we feel DL at night just gets way jam packed.
What do other people like to do at night when night shows are running, but you will not be viewing them?
We typically will do rope drop to closing.

Splash mountain at night = short waits. I love that ride at night and we usually do repeats because we know if we get soaked we'll be headed back to the room soon anyway. Always one last ride on POTC, and I love Matterhorn at night too. I also love a night time stroll through fantasy land.

On Saturdays, we're at PFF for the Royal Swing Ball. Other nights, if there are bands in DTD, that's probably where we'll be. Or we might do a leisurely meal in the lounge at NR or in the lounge at CCR. If we have FPs stacked for nighttime, we'll be using them! Sometimes a fun meal is soup in bread bowls at Pacific Wharf while "watching" WOC from a table with a view of the fountain tops. You can hear the music just fine. Same with corn dogs from Stage Door Cafe while "watching" F! If you've already seen those shows (numerous times!), you can easily see the shows in your head while listening to the music.

Yeah, if we're not doing shows (probably half the time) we're doing rides, no real plan unless we have some FastPasses built up. There are ways to get around or through all the crowds, no need to sequester yourselves and stay in one area. We're usually all over the place.

Doesn't it get shut down during WOC?
It does, but he was adding it to the pp's list of rides that are fun in the dark. (And he's right -- IC is more fun at night!) TSMM keeps running during WOC, so if you do that and are in the area when IC reopens after WOC, you could grab a ride while the line is short.

We never do WOC or F!. Did them once and that was enough. When we are at DLR at night, we like to go to Clarabelle's for a hot fudge sundae.

I really don't like doing evenings without a show. It's why we try to always go in the Christmas season, so that we have a finale' at each park. When we go in other off-seasons, we'll just ride ride ride as much as we can until they don't let us into a line.

If you are there on a Saturday... this doesn't help for fireworks but it probably will during Fantasmic - go to Fantasy Faire theater and go listen to the swing music.

We find it is a good time to do attractions since a big chunk of the crowd is watching the show and not standing in lines.
