Hi!!!

Okay - the ads are mostly out and its time to plan!! Where are you headed to first and what is a must have for your Black Friday shopping?

I must go to Joann's - that flannel is a GREAT price!!!!!:thumbsup2

I really want the $199 Xbox w/ Kinect bundle at WM, but I'm not sure if I want to deal with the WM wackos, LOL. :rotfl:
If I don't go there, I'm going to try to be one of the first in line at Old Navy for the free Kodak Sport camera with a $40 purchase. :thumbsup2

One of my friends is going for that Camera too!!!!! Good luck!!! I hope you get one!!:wizard:

So far the only think I know I want for sure is a Kindle - but I think Im not going to find it any cheaper than the $79 on Amazon. I can use my swagbucks to help pay for it!

Normally I go to Target and Lifeway, but since it looks like I will have my daughter this year (she normally goes to her dad's on Thanksgiving evening and stays with him for the weekend) I will have to do my shopping for BF online. That's ok. She's basically shopped for anyways!

Easy. Target at midnight for the iPod Touch 8GB and iTunes gift cards. I may also try to get to Staples at some point later in the day for their free after rewards deals, but that's probably it for me.

I usually only hit up Toys R Us but this year there is only 1 thing I need from there, the Ipod Touch deal, so after that my DS (my BF shopping buddy) and I are going to head to Best Buy for some video games and a Blu Ray player and then to Target for a few things. With the 9pm opening of TRU and the midnight openings of Best Buy and Target I am hoping to be done by 2am or so. There was a few things I liked at Walmart but not enough to fight the crazy crowds there, I know BB and Target will be packed but since we're not going for any big ticket items I'm hoping it won't be so bad! I did try to get the Disney Store's BF deals out of a CM at the store today but she said that they don't tell them anything ahead of time but she did say she thought they may open before midnight like 10pm or so. Depending on how tired we are I may swing over there and check it out

The target kinect deal for $99 that comes with 4 games is my must have. I've already bought the xbox with a $50 giftcard from target so I'm going to use that to help pay for the kinect deal. Also why we're there they have Disney Universe for $28 on black friday. Other than that I might pick up a few movies for odd and end gifts and then that's the only must have store and items. We normally go to toysrus for BF but I'm afraid we won't be done there and in line in time to grab the kinect deal at Target so Toysrus might be a stop by after Target just to see what they have left laying around. Then maybe kohl's and Penney's just cause.

Although when in line waiting for a store to open and someone asks what I'm there for I usually reply I'm here to grab some milk and eggs. We ran out. :rotfl2:

Disney Univers is on my list too. Did you see the Disneyland Adventures Game for the Kinect? I saw the commercial last night - wish I had an XBOX to play it on!!!

This is my first year shopping black Friday and I want that Target $99 Kinect deal. My mom wants to buy the kids a Kinect and games this year but is having financial problems. She was insisting on sending 175 for a refurbished system and a game or maybe two and feeling bad that wouldn't get much. If I can get this for her. She'll have the Kinect and Wipeout 2 (one of the only games they all want) plus Kinect adventures which we wouldn't have gotten if I had bought refurbished and DS wants, plus the downloads for Gunslinger and fruit ninja which is great cuz DD12 wants fruit Ninja and DS wants Gunslinger. She'll get more and save herself 75 dollars and the kids will be thrilled.

Oh yes we've not just seen it on Tv but we've been stalking it on youtube and other sites. My mom is going to buy this game for DD for Christmas. Actually I'm hoping it's available at midnight on Amazon because I will be up and waiting to order!

That would be great! Just as a tip if this is your first BF trip and I know every area is different but I've had great success at Target in my area. If you have more than one Target near you go to the less popular one, I avoid the super stores and go for ones that aren't as big. Less people think about them in their black friday plans. The downside to this is they sometimes have less of the products you want available, but so far I haven't had any problems. Find a shopping buddy if you can and get in line around 2 hours before the store opens. I bring a chair and blanket and then one of us runs them back to the car about 30 minutes before the store opens. It makes for a much more comfortable experience. Target is good about putting piles of the more popular items in 2-3 different areas of the store to avoid that mad dash to electronics, or at least help it some. They will also have a map on their website a few days prior to BF of where certain items will be located, this isn't always accurate and they hand out different ones while you're in line as well. If the kinect is in more than one area have your shopping buddy go to one area and you head to another as soon as you hit the doors. If you both end up grabbing one, it's much easier to put one back. If they are just in one location use your shopping buddy to come into the area they are located from two different sides. One might be too crowded, while the other side doesn't have as many people. I know it sounds like a lot of effort to put into just buying one item, but I enjoy the strategy and so far it has yet to fail me.

Walmart :

Kodak C1450 camera
Epic Mickey Wii
Office Chair
Call of Duty - Black Ops XBox 360

That's all I want to get.

Be in bed no later than midnight. Up no later than 6:30am to head to DLR!! Be through security and in line no later than 7:30am for 8am opening! Walk with purpose to Peter Pan, Dumbo, Matterhorn, stop by Star Tours for a FP and then on to Space Mountain :cool1:

I've been doing BF before it was called BF!! :lmao: I remember running thru Alexanders the day after Thanksgiving for a doll for my niece and she turns 42 in January!

It's a tradition in my family, my Mom, rest her soul, LIVED for BF. We spent the day before after eating reading all the newspapers (pre internet) and planning our strategy.

Thank GOD my son is too old for ToysRUs, I don't plan to go back there until HE has kids! My plan is to do WM online, Target, Big Lots, Staples and then good ol Walgreens, where NO ONE GOES!

I know my dad would love it, but there is no way on God's gree Earth he would wear it! :lmao:

I really want to pick up some Bass Pro Fleeces for $10 and possibly the Menards Mens Fleeces for $7 if I cant handle Bass Pro... :) I think both of those stores open at 6am on Black Friday - so very dooable for my DD and I - I am staying away from Walmart for SURE... I really want to get my DD a Trampoline at TRU but no way I can sneak that gift without her noticing unless I run out Thanksgiving night and try for it then...

This year may be different for myself and BF buddy. I think we may start at midnight this year. It will make it more interesting.

I'm not impressed with the sales so far.
I'm hoping when the sales papers come out and I can feel the paper between my fingers I will get inspired!
