We are travelling to the world in Aug. and it is our first time on QSDP! I know DH will give me the "what do you mean only 2 meals per day?" None of us eat 3 big meals a day anyway, but I will be going armed with my breakfast suggestions! BUT...I need your help. Since we all know breakfast is not the best use of a CS credit, what do you do when on QSDP? I have seen people on this board who use a dessert left over from the previous day. I could totally do that. Chocolate cake for DS5 for breakfast? Why not! Everything goes when at WDW, right? So let's hear what you do.:)

There are many good place for QS we upgrade to MYWD but QS has a lot to chose from go to allears.net and pull up the menu's and then can decide or just WDWmenus.com as well:cool1: resort food courts good for breakfast but many other places as well.

There are 3 of us - DD is 12. We split CS meals and spread them out throughout the trip. So if we're there for 10 nights we get 60 meals total - instead of 3 CS meals for the 3 of us for lunch and dinner we do 2 CS meals between the 3 of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Splitting meals works out really well for our family - there's plenty of food for the 3 of us.

Alternatively you can bring food and keep it in the room - things like poptarts work well.

We split lunch meals sometimes and then used a CS for breakfast...when we did CS for breakfast, we usually got the biggest platter they had and split that and maybe a bottled orange juice (yes, not the "best" use of a credit, but not as bad)

We also used snacks and desserts that we got that morning or the day before (school bread from Norway, cinnamon roll from MK, pastries at the hotel). Several of the CS places also allowed a yogurt for dessert option (I carry around a soft cooler-lunch box size-with ice in ziploc bags)

We also brought some food with us (pop tarts, cereal, milk, fruit) or you could do a grocery order if you can't bring food with you

If we want to pay OOP for a TS to supplement your QSDP...breakfast is the cheapest time to do so as well ;)

What we will do is for some breakfasts use a snack credit and get a blueberry muffin or hot cin bun at the resort that with a few mugs of coffee is great or head to HS for a cupcake at Staring Rolls then use the CS for lunch and dinner. Other days we will graze at the Food and Wine Fest so we may go to Captain Cooks and get a tonga toast, Riverside for a made to order omlet or something in DTD at WGPE then use the snack credit for the F & W Fest.
