The scarves are actually quite nice. We bought them out of desperation back in December 2010, but they have served us well.
NOTE: if you are not a Steelers fan, you might steer clear of the Hufflepuff scarf. DH has felt quite uncomfortable wearing his bright yellow and black scarf during football season.
Anyway, they are on the high side, and if you have someone in your life who knits they will give you trouble for *buying* a scarf, but they are nice and warm.
I like the butterbeer mugs more than my Hog's Head mug. The HH mug is just a little too big for my hands, and it makes it too heavy. Just a touch too heavy.
DH picked up a Hogwarts themed passport holder in the same place as the owl post. He LOVES that thing.
We buy chocolate frogs, and use the container as decoration and to hold little things. The chocolate is terrible, but the container is lovely. And we bought a container of bertie botts beans, gave the jelly bellies away (ingredient problems), and we refill the container with safe jellybeans to have around. Just little reminders everywhere of our fun times there.
OH and they have mini-pins from the 4 houses and one for Hogwarts in general, too. (or they did last year) Check the pin card carefully, to make sure you have the right pins. Someone had done some creative rearranging of pins with my card, and when I was doing absolute last-minute shopping and went to grab the pins that I had already checked out, I didn't look carefully, and found when we got all the way home that I had two Slytherins and another one missing. Universal was LOVELY to deal with in getting them replaced, absolutely fabulous and in no time at all, but it's best to not have to deal with that in the first place.

Anyway, they are adorable little pins.
