What's your favorite TS in Downtown Disney

Hi all!

We will be at Disney in January and our children really want to go to the Lego Store one of the nights. We have never been there.

Is it worth the trip?

If we go, we would like to eat somewhere yummy. What is your favorite TS in Downtown Disney? I've heard good things about Raglan Road, but we've never been.

We loved DTD! After skipping it our first trip (we can shop at home!) we decided to check it out this trip & had a blast! In fact, we went two times! It's beautiful to just walk around but there is so much to see & eat. We had ADR's at Raglan Road & really enjoyed it. Our kids were 12 & 7. We asked for a table with a view of the stage. We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant next to the mini stage. Great seats! We all loved the food & DH has requested a return ADR on our next trip. I know there are several other options but we really enjoyed Raglan Road & DTD!

We ALWAYS go to DTD the day we arrive, the rooms generally aren't ready and we wouldn't get a full day in a park...

It is also a great way to get much of our t-shirt, gift and Christmas ornament shopping done so we don't have to carry stuff around in the parks.

Our other MUST DO has become Wolfgang Puck EXPRESS - it's actually a quick serve location - it has great food options which are ordered at a counter and servers will bring it to your table along with refilling beverages and bringing you your dessert too -

We've found it to be a great value, with great food, outdoor dining option and moves a little faster than a TS...

If you are doing Disney Dining its great to be able to save the TS for Signature Dining or a character breakfast

Everyone always says that Planet Hollywood is like an Applebee's. Well it maybe but our DD loves the atmosphere as well as T-Rex cafe and Rainforest Cafe. The food is good the service is good, but it keeps our DD entertained so we can relax.

I love DTD! Raglan Rd and Wolgang puck cafe's food are excellent and I love t~rex's atmosphere. But my absolute favorite DTD restaurant is House of Blues. I may be a minority on the Dis, since I don't read much about it, but the food is consistently amazing, and the atmosphere is so much fun. However, I dont believe this is a Disney owned restaurant, so it may not be on DDP.

Yes, House of Blues is our favorite too. Their food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun. I also do not think it is on the DDP. We go anyway.

Earl of sandwich is my favorite quick service of all the Disneys. The subs are $6 and so good. The holiday sandwich is the best sadnwich Ive had anywhere.

EArl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express are not Table Service restaurants. They do have good food and their fans though.
OUr favorite TS is Raglan Road. It is a beautiful restaurant, has great food and friendly service. We go every trip

We've tried Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, etc. but you can find those restaurants anywhere, along with places such as Raglan Road. (There's so many Irish-themed restaurants in my city, I would never go to it on my vacation.) I would definitely do Wolfgang Puck CAFE. It has a great selection with pizzas, pasta, sushi, etc. and has a wonderful location on the water. The prices and portions are very reasonable, too.

We are going to Raglan Road now for dinner on Wed. night and then to the lego store.

We are surprising our kids for Christmas...so I know this will make it EVEN BETTER.

Our reservation is at 6:30. Does the band play at a certain time?

The scallops look amazing!!! What else is good? I love Fish and chips, but I'm totally in love with the ones in Epcot. I don't want to be disappointed if they aren't as good...

A trip or two to DTD is always on the schedule for us.

Lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace and a visit to the Disney Christmas store, Once upon a Toy, Aribas Bros, Pin Traders and the World of Disney.

Back another night for dinner at Raglan Road, a must do for us.

We thought that Planet Hollywood was too expensive for what you got and VERY loud.

This summer we enjoyed CapN'Jacks. We also really like Rain Forest Cafe'.

we have always enjoyed planet hollywood. but his last rip we were surprised that they have upped the price for a burger to $15!

I think trex is great for the atmosphere.

Raglan Road is a MUST for us . . we love it food and atmosphere are awesome . . We really enjoyed House of Blues too food was excellent . . Rainforest Cafe was ok . . no complaints not the best we've ever had . . very disappointed in Captain Jack's probably won't go back there but some people really like it

We are fans of fultons crab house... It is very delicious. However it can become a very expensive. We also love T-Rex. Just love the theme. Try to get seated in the ice cave. It is amazing.

We like the Rainforest Cafe- it has super big portions and my kids still like it after all the visits.

I think, if you are staying on site, that Planet Hollywood would be a great deal for you if you got the $off coupon with your packet. It also gives you a freebie- mine is always a keychain or button- that my kids like as well. It is fun and busy and packed and the coupon really helps defray the costs, since they have increased them.

Have fun regardless. I have never been to Raglan Road but hear really good things about it.
