OMG Aim is sooo poo! You wanna get MSN, it's so much more advanced and doesn't have as annoying noises. You can do so much more and it looks prettier too!

I signed up for that but for some reason it would never let me sign on

I use Trillian, which let's you use Yahoo, AIM, and MSN, along with ICQ and IRC
