My kiddos like Playhouse Disney, sproutonline.com, pbskids.org and noggin, but what other free sites are out there, for preschoolers thru elementary age?
jumpstart.com is free things you can do. We decided to subcribe to the site and pay $7.99 a month and each kid has their own account. My dd and ds love it (So does my husband who has an account and play with them when they're all on together).
hitentertainment.com ~ Has things like thomas and angelina ballerina and a few others.
Starfall for sure. My 4 year old nephew loves it. Also club penguin. Be prepared for the child to beg for a subscription to club penguin. Yahoo kids seems to be a hit with my 8 and 9 year old boys.
game goo is from the creators of Earobics and ranges from pre-k to past 6th grade. Its focus is langauge/reading and comprehension.
This was a biggie for my oldest with CAPD (as was earobics) and my youngest has always loved this site. Our school uses Earobics in Kindy so its very familiar to my kids.
My kids have now moved on to things like neopets, wizard 101 and my oldest has started on Freerealms.
I downloaded a neat browser for kids called www.kidzui.com. It is pretty cool adn you can have links to all of the other free sites on there and your kid can't accidentally mess up anything on your computer while they are on it!
