What's your favorite Dr Seuss story?

I love Dr Seuss, always have, always will. I'd have to say my favorite story would be The Sneetches. My husband's is The Lorax. Anymore Dr Seuss fans out there?

It's not much of a story, but "Fox in Sox" is my favorite Suess book.

I almost said "The Digging-est Dog" because I know that it is in the "Suess I Can Read" series but after I did a little research I found it wasn't actually written by him.

So, I would have to say "And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street" is my favorite. I love both of those books still and I read MY old copies to my kids. Complete with my crayon artwork.

Oh the Places You'll Go! Is 'one' of my favorites, but it is my tradition to give a copy of this book as a graduation gift (along with some $$$$$)

"Horton Hatches the Egg". I can still remember being 4 years old and going with my mother to the elementary school's library where she volunteered, and she'd read that book to me over and over again, as many times as I asked her to.

When my older DS was born, that was the first book I ever bought for him and ever read to him. Now both DSs say that it's their favorite childhood book.

There are so many good ones, but I appreciate them more as an adult than I did as a kid.
