We are flying into Santa Ana tomorrow morning and should be in the park by 10:00 am! :yay:

What is your favorite/most accurate Iphone app for ride times?

Also, on the subject of smart phones, is there a place in DL or DCA to charge your phone? Thanks in advance!

I use a combination of Disneyland Wait Times and MouseWait Disneyland. I woudn't say either is any better than the other because both rely on users submitted information. I do like that MouseWait includes the time that the wait time was submitted, so you know if that estimate was from 5 minutes or 5 hours ago.

There is also Otto (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2012/07/got-a-disneyland-resort-question-just-ask-otto/) who you can call to get information about wait times.

I didn't check to make sure they returned after the lockers re-opened last month in Disneyland, but there are charging lockers that you can rent to charge your smartphone or any small e-device.

There are also random outlets that you just have to keep your eye out for. Usually the CMs will let you charge your device without any comment. I've only seen them ask guests to move if they're blocking the walkways or access to some location the CMs need.

I used MouseWait on my last trip, but only sparingly. Because we went at a slow time, it seemed the times were never really up to date/time. The times were always at least 60 minutes old, if not hours old. And the crowd index never made sense to me. We'd be walking onto rides and the index would be in the 70s. By evening when the crowds picked up, the crowd index was the same. Still trying to figure that out.

I agree that the problem with any of the free wait time apps is that they rely on users to submit wait times. So if not many people are in the parks and not many of those are submitting wait times, the app is not going to be up to date. I think that's just one of those things that you have to accept when using these free user-driven wait time apps. I haven't tried any of the paid ones to see if they're any better.

For the crowd Index, I don't fully understand it either. Mousewaits tried to explain their's, but again, I think it's driven by user submitted information. So low amounts of information is going to produce wacky results.

I second the recommendation to look into a portable charger, like the Anker (I have one). It's nice because I can re-charge my phone "on-the-go" and them I'm not tethered to a power outlet or without my phone (if it's in the charging locker).
