What's your favorite dessert party?

So I think we have decided to do a dessert party as a special treat!

Originally I was planning on HEA with Garden Plaza viewing but since the price increase...the saving isn't as substantial between the other parties...so which would you pick HEA or Frozen Forever?

Other information: We have never seen HEA and I am honestly worried it will be a let down compared to Wishes. Also, my family are not huge Star Wars fans so I am not looking at that dessert party.

We are booked for HEA dessert party. I'm doing it for the view and not having to wait hours for a spot. And not being packed like sardines with a million other people. I've never found an issue finding a decent spot for Illuminations so the Frozen party wasn't even on my radar.

I loved the Star Wars and Illuminations dessert parties! I know a lot say that the Illuminations one isn't worth it as you can see Illuminations good from anywhere, but we really enjoyed the food as well as the up front viewing of Illuminations! And the Frozen riding was a great bonus!! We're doing it again next week!

Okay, this is going on the "must do" list. I'd already decided that I needed to do it simply because the JBJB one at Christmastime was so great AND we're Star Wars fans. But mingling with Stormtroopers seals the deal.

For the OP, I would suggest HEA garden viewing. HEA is pretty amazing with a good view, but I saw it in a crush of humanity that bordered on being frightening (and I don't mind crowds normally).

As for IllumiNations, I've always gotten a FastPass for it because I love the view from the FP area. I'm pretty sure I got one the day of back in 2016 over Easter break when the crowds were insane. I think they're pretty easy to get as most people won't waste one of their original 3 Epcot FastPasses on it. The view is fantastic if you stand right up against the shop that is along the backside of the viewing area. Grab a goodie from France and enjoy the show without the price tag of a dessert party.

I loved Wishes, but HEA is AMAZING!

I haven't done the Frozen dessert party (we'll do it in August), but, for me, it would come down to what you are hoping to get out of the experience. If it is a good viewing spot without having to deal with crowds or without waiting for a long period of time, I would pick HEA Plaza Garden Viewing. The dessert party portion of that experience is just, meh, to me. The desserts are fine, but that party is mostly about getting out to the garden to get a great spot to see the fireworks. If you want more of an overall experience, I would do Frozen. The dessert and beverage options seem more plentiful, you can watch the fireworks while seated and you get to ride Frozen! When we do the Frozen one, it will probably be once and done for us as I can always find a good spot around the lagoon to see the fireworks. I won't see HEA without the dessert party as I (and DS) can't handle the fireworks crowds at MK.
