Looking for someplace new to try with the hubby... Im fine with Burgers and Chicken Fingers but he wants the finer things... Luckily he let me plan out the trip entirely cause he needs to focus on his job at the time... So where should we go... He is by no means a picky eater! Any suggestions? Looks like we'll be having an Early Lunch there...

Pot Stickers from the Lotus Blossom Cafe
Beef and Cheese Empanadas from the Refreshment Port (near the UK)
Dessert at Boulangerie Patisserie

We went to Epcot 4 times this past trip! Electric Umbrella has decent CS and that is what we have done in the past. This trip we did all World Showcase. Nachos from Mexico were great and I LOVED the fish and chips from England. Also enjoyed the sandwiches and dessert in France and DH loved the bratwurst from Germany!

There are many good cs options in Epcot; however a few really stand out from among the others. IMHO the best are below.

Sunshine Seasons (The Land Pavillion). This place has an incredible selection that will please everyone in the family. This place offers a nice variety of salads, burgers, wraps, rotisserie chicken, and many other items on the menu which are very good.

Tangierine Cafe (Morocco Showcase) This is my favorite cs in all of WDW. I love this place. Very good wraps, but my favorite is the Shawarma Platters. If you are on the DDP, this is the best value of any cs in the entire kingdom.

Boulangerie Patisserie (France Showcase) This place offers the best bakery items in all of WDW (IMHO). In addition to the pastries and desserts, they also offer some nice wraps and a few other lunch items. Many of the desserts are eligible on the DDP snack credit and are an excellent value.

Another vote for the Tangierine Cafe. It's a must do for DH and I. :thumbsup2

Sunshine Seasons is terrific and provides many tasty choices. It's in FW in the Land.

Yakitori House in Japan is one of our favorites and a must do for DD15.

We also like Tangierine Cafe in Morocco.

While Sunshine Seasons has good variety and we like it okay, we think the food at Tangierine Cafe in Morrocco is far better. It's also our favorite CS in all 4 parks.

My two choices (in alphabetic order) would be the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco and the Yakitori House in Japan.

My favorites are:

Bratwurst sandwiches with saurkraut from Sommerfest (these are SO good)

Egg rolls from Lotus Blossom

Nachos from Mexico (although the CS place was closed when I was last there)

I haven't done any of the CS places in World Showcase yet (maybe next time), but I love Sunshine Seasons because of the large variety of items available.

DITTO!!! :thumbsup2

Kringla is my favorite. It's unique and comforting for me.

I sometimes do a dessert meal. I get a few desserts usually one from Kringla and one from the Boulangerie and that becomes dinner. That's unjhealthy of course but I never eat dessert so I do it all at once. :)

Love Sunshine Seasons for the variety - in the Land Pavillion

Also Kringla bakery for their great sandwiches.

Very disappointed in Lotus (China).

another vote for sunshine seasons! its a must do when we go! there desserts are some of my favorite and they have really good food that is very fresh!

Absolutely go to Tangerine Cafe!!! Sooo flavorful, so different, so worth it!

And next door is France, some good, inexpensive wine at the pastry shop and the store.

Our favorites are the fish and chips in England (but seating is often difficult to come by) and the Udon soup at Yakitori House.

We haven't tried Sunshine Seasons, but plan to this coming trip. It gets very high praise from our travel agent who eats there with her family each trip.

I will say, hands down, the worst food we have ever had at DW was from the CS in Mexico...tasteless meat and beans, soggy chips and tortillas, canned 'cheese' sauce, and soggy lettuce. We eat out a lot at Mexican restaurants so we expected something at least on par with our "cheap place"....this CS wasn't even close.
