What's your favorite cocktail?

Bombay Sapphire Gin and tonic...yum.
That is my DH drink!

I like Strawberry Daquaris or a Cosmo. :drinking: In fact I can use one now but I am on medication and cannot drink. :sad2:

I bought a bottle of Raspberry Pucker today because it had a recipe for Raspberry Coladas on the back. I'm going to try making them tomorrow night. I just tried it with Sprite and it's kinda sour. Guess I should have figured it out from the name. Hope the Coladas turn out ok.

Wish I could find the recipe for the "Big John" I had at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. It was the best drink I've ever had. Did you know they don't allow straws there (like Animal Kingdom)? It was kinda hard to drink a drink like that without a straw, but I managed. ;)

Jack on the rocks.

Or a really nice grappa.

Coconut rum with tropical fruit juice (don't know what it is called)
It's called a Malibu Rum Punch and it's my favorite.

I usually drink wine, but when I get a mixed drink I get a margarita (mango margaritas are the best!), gin and tonic, or Chivas and soda.

Watermelon Martinis - They are a tasty treat!!!! :goodvibes

Frozen Strawberry Margaritas

1 can (6oz.) frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
3 cups water
1 cup tequila
1/4 cup triple sec
lemon lime soda (I use Squirt)

Mix limeade and strawberries in blender. Combine with other ingredients (except soda) in plastic container. Freeze until slushy. To serve mix 2/3 cup slush with 1/3 cup soda.

I tinker with the alcohol amounts, usually using a little less, and adding more to taste when I'm serving.

I like strawberry daquiris if they are done right and not too sweet. I had a Candy Apple Martini this week and it was SO good.

But my usual drink is a Rum and Coca.....COLA! With a twist of lime. :cool1:

I generally drink wine or Sam Adams. However, I do enjoy the occasional margarita or sangria. Here is the sangria recipe I use:

1 bottle fruity red wine
1/2 c fresh orange juice
1/4 c fresh lemon juice
1 orange sliced thin
1 lemon, sliced thin
1 lime, sliced thin
1/4 c Cointreau
1-2 tbsp sugar

Put the first seven ingredients together in a large pitcher. Refrigerate until chilled. Mash sliced fruit a bit then taste and add sugar as necessary. Serve in large glasses with ice.
