What's your favorite "bargain" store?

Dollar Tree gal here. Why you might ask? Because everything is one little old dollar $. :teeth: Then you come home with at least twenty things you really didn't need but thought it was a deal because it was a dollar. Gotta love it. :thumbsup2

I wish there was a Christmas Tree Shoppe in our area. I've never heard of it but it sounds like my kind of store!

Never heard of a Christmas Tree Shoppe store. I also like Ross. To me, it has nicer things than Marshalls or TJ Maxx.

Tuesday Morning and Steinmart. I can't pass one without stopping. It's higher end stuff but I find amazing deals on unique home items.

Ross, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx are other fave home decor stops.

I'm also a Dollar Tree fan!!

Here we have Deals (everything is $1 and they have groceries too), Dollar Tree, and Gabriel Brothers. Gabes is great for clothing. There's also Village Discount which is a thrift store but their clothes selection is awesome.

Definatley Christmas Tree Shops - even though it is 1 1/2 hours away, and we have to travel over two bridges to get there - it is THE best store.
We live 5 miles from one but DH would be much happier if we didnt! Last w/e they were filming one of thier "dont you just Looove a bargain" commercials and they wanted people to show what they were getting and say a few words. It was Sat am (pony tail, sweats,no makeup) so I said no.

The Christmas Tree Shop. I drive DH crazy until he stops at one when we visit relatives in Cape Cod.

Christmas Tree Shop is a brand new store near my home. I'm not really into it, it seems like a "nicer" Big Lots.

Wow, lucky you being so close!! I heard a rumor they were going to build one here on the island, but, in a way I don't want them to because then everyone would find out about the store!!

I heard Ross has some amazing items, however, there's none in New England. Someone told me that they do not like to market the areas where there are extreme weather changes like the cold winters and hot summers.

I think the nearest one for me is Frazer, PA.

Is there one closer that I can go to?

I like Ross and Big Lots. Value City also has some good stuff sometimes but the one nearest me is a little dodgy.

Five Below is a great teen/tween store, and I happen to like it as well--as a parent of teen/tween. Everything in the store is $5 or below-hence the name five below.

They have everything: clothes, makeup, toys, books, posters, incencse, balls, games, backpacks, accessories, shoes, candy and everything else you can think of.

The stores began in PA, and they have spread. I know there are in NJ, PA, MD and I think VA.

I think they have a website www.fivebelow.com

I love Deals and Dollar Tree. :)

I also like Marshalls, Rue 21, and Value City.

"Just A Buck". The stores are always very tidy, without styuff strewn all about, so it's easy to look at what they have.

If I go into a store and it's really messy, I tend to walk out.

Add me to the list with the other Northerners, Damn Yankees and Stubborn New Englanders! ((No puns intended - I am a die hard RED SOX Fan, so lets not therad-jack this into a yankee/Red Sox battle!! :cheer2: ))

Back to Topic: I love the Christmas Tree Shop ..."Don't you just looooove a bargin?" I can easily drop $100 everytime I go there! Does TJ Maxx count as a bargain store - Bargains by the bagful - isn't that their motto?? I am all about clearance and gettinga deal! Aren't we all???

I am getting punchy - time for bed!!

What about Reny's? LOVE THAT STORE~ Anyone other New Englanders, Mostly Mainers, like REny's?? BEst place in the world to buy Carhart stuff!! :thumbsup2

Thanks grinningghost for starting this thread! I was just in a grumbly kind of mood and posted with out thinking what I was saying - now I have earned my first TAG!! YAY - thanks Tag Fairy and fellow Norther's, Damn Yankees and Stubborn NEw Englanders!! I couldn't have done it with out you and The Christmas Tree Shops! :thumbsup2 ... "And I can't forget to thank the Acadamy."... LOL ... "You like me! You really like me!!" Well, .. let's not push it ......... :rotfl2:
