What do you suggest I order at each of these places? I've never been to any of them. I'm curious to know what the favorite menu item would be.

Tonys-
LeCellier Lunch-
Coral Reef-
50's Prime Time-

Thanks a bunch.

I ordered the following at Le Cellier...my friend TigerKat told me about them and she could not have recommended anything better...the mussels appetizer (goes great with the pretzel bread) and the mushroom filet!!! Yum!

At coral reef I don't deviate - creamy lobster soup, blackened catfish with cheese grits and chocolate wave.

At 50's primetime the onion rings, the fried chicken and the s'mores.

I haven't been to le cellier for lunch in ages but agree about the mussels appetizer.

I also haven't been to tony's for years.

50's Prime Time:
Pot Roast and Smores.... always!!!

Le Cellier:
Cheese Soup and Filet...... always!!

Coral Reef:
the lobster bisque is fabulous!

50's prime time
shrimp appetizer, pot roast or Fried chicken, and Milk shake. I would ask for different vegetable with my fried chicken next time, I didn't like it all that much and our waitress forced me to finished it.

Tony's- spinach artichoke dip and plain chocolate ice cream were OK. I had the chicken florentine and have also had the calamari and did not like either--chicken florentine was very dry, tough, and tasteless and calamari wasn't done (the crust was almost white).

Le Cellier (lunch)- duck two ways and the tomato stack appetizer are my favorites for appetizers. Grilled steak burger was OK. Chcolate moose and creme brulee sampler are good. I'd keep trying for a dinner ADR though,as the filet with mushroom risotto is out of this world and only avaialble at dinner.

Coral Reef- lobster soup, steak, and either the chocolate wave or hot pineapple upside down cake with coconut sauce. My steak here was better than the one I got at Rose & Crown.

50's Prime Time- you have to try a peanut butter/jelly shake--they are wonderful. We also like their fried herb cheese and chicken pot pie. I don't remember what desserts we've had, but remember seeing their dad's sundae. It was huge and covered with whipped cream, m&ms, and cracker jacks.

Le Cellier Lunch - DH was able to order the BBQ filet (his fav) and I tried the beef tips with udon noodles and stir fry veggies. This was amazing and had so much beef in it! DH said he wished he ordered this instead. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the veggies still had a slight crunch to them, the asian sauce was awesome.

50's Prime Time - We always get the fried chicken, it is so good. We ask for all white meat and they usually give us 2 HUGE chicken breasts and a wing. The smores dessert is awesome, it used to be the size of a dinner plate and DH and I would share it but now it is half the size so I make him order his own!

the chicken pot pie and the pot roast at 50's prime time are both excellent choices :thumbsup2
unfortunately, i havent been to the other places recent enough - that is changing next trip though!!!!

If you go to Le Cellier and don't have the cheese soup, your venerable ancestors will forever disown you and you'll have to wander the earth in eternal torment after you die.

Well, maybe not... but the cheese soup is very good none the less. :rotfl:

.

I liked the artichoke dip, but found the calamari to be very salty. I also liked the chicken florentine. It was on the dry side, but I thought it was much better than the steak I got there later in the week. Both times I was there I had a sampler plate for dessert. The tiramsu was pretty yummy.

At coral reef, I enjoyed the grilled tilapia. My gf however got the Lobster salad and was extremly dissapointed. Could be because we're from Maine and it was nothing like what we're used to up here for lobster salad, but she couldn't even eat it.

Thank you thank you for your opinions. That helps to hear what others have experienced.
I can't wait---one more month and we will be there!

Having been born and raised in Maine I find the only time I am not disappointed with Seafood eaten outside of New England is when I get something that is regional to where I am visiting and can't be gotten in Maine. Then I have no expectations. (Shrimp being the exception to this rule.)

The Mahi Mahi and lump crab cakes are really nice when in Florida...
