we watched Muppet Christmas Carol last weekend and dd said 'yack' everytime she saw Gonzo :rotfl: Our favourites are Elf and Jack Frost (even though it makes me cry !!!)

If you can class it as a Christmas movie - I love watching the original Home Alone film :)

Another one I love is Gremlins :)

I watch Jingle all the way and National lampoons christmas vacation every Christmas eve its a tradition with me now!!!

That is a tough choice, to choose just one. So if it is o.k. I will state several. :)

I love A Christmas Story, that movie is just so much fun. I especially enjoy watching the various presentations of A Christmas Carol. As well as Miracle on 34th Street (Prefer the original although I do like the remake) and It's A Wonderful Life. I too very much like Home Alone. For me, I do not feel quite like it is Christmas time, from a film entertainment stand point, unless I see the first two films stated above.

Absolutely you can! It's one of my favourites of all time and definitely a Christmas movie. I was just about to say that I've had a yen to watch it the last couple of days. I also adore While You Were Sleeping (Sandra Bullock).

I love Christmas films and last year I bought a few classics on DVD - Its A Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street (albeit the newer version), and White Christmas. I was surprised to discover that, not only had I never seen It's A Wonderful Life, but also that I didn't enjoy it all that much :confused3 .

Last year we watched The Grinch after a few years off, as well as A Nightmare Before Christmas. Oh, and the one with Tim Allen - The Santa Clause?

When my girls were young I taped Yogi's First Christmas - a feature length cartoon - from the TV. We watched it every year until they were teenagers. I'd love to get that on DVD.

.

not that surprizing as it was a flop at the box office, when it was first released

Me too, haven't watched it in ages though as it was on my V+ box but got wiped:rolleyes:

I dragged DH to that film for our first date and exactly 10 years later to the day, our second DD was born :)

It has to be Love Actually for how all the stories are intertwined and the Christmas scenes :)

Claire ;)
