Everyone could just say Disneyworld, but really…. Give us the basic themeing and outline to your dream wedding. Whether you’re married, single, engaged, whatever…

What is your dream wedding?

I wanted to get married on the beach, at sunset. Close friends and family only. The colors to be pink, white and black. I would have 3 bridesmaids, two of them male. They would wear black tuxes, with a dark pink shirt and a light pink tie. The gal bridesmaid would wear an A-line dress that comes down right below the knees, it would be black, with dark pink and light pink piping and sash. I would carry Wildflowers with very long stems, tied with a pink ribbon. The gal bridesmaid would carry a smaller arrangement of the same. I want to walk down the aisle on a piece of pink satin surrounded by white chairs (beach, and sunset) with candles on pillars everywhere. (hopefully it’s not too windy) I want to walk down the aisle to my high school flute instructor playing Canon in D, on solo flute. I want to leave the ceremony on a convertible that says Just Married, and has the top down so we can sit on the back like celebrities, and wave and be taken to the reception.

The reception would be themed ‘Enchantment Under the Sea’ Like from Back to the Future. In a High school gym. But elegant, with beachy themed table settings and a live jazz band instead of a DJ. Honeymoon would of course be at WDW.

Sooo… whats your dream wedding? :bride: :groom:

Sounds perfectly gorgeous! :teeth: My dream wedding would be no wedding ceremony at all. The dream for me would be to take the wad of cash that "would" have paid for a ceremony and use as a down payment on a fabulous house. :goodvibes I know, doesn't sound romantic but I'd still be married to the man of my dreams and enjoying a fabulous house in a really great neighborhood. That means more to me than a ceremony lasting approximately a couple of hours.

Well I got married our of high school in my grandmother's house and as my son likes to say "Everyone sat on the couch!"

So if DH and I were to renew our vows my number one request would be that I was married in a church. I just never felt right not saying my vows in a church before God. I want a Christmas wedding with red and white roses and red bridesmaid dresses. I want a huge dress with a long train and tons and tons of pictures. I want the whole nine yards. Then of course we leave immediantly for a Honeymoon at the Grand Floridian!

My dream wedding would be in the lobby of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and the outfits would be reminiscent of 1930's attire. The reception would be held in the courtyard, with a big band and everything. Oh, and we could ride Tower a lot. >:)

I almost had my dream wedding. It was on the beach in Jamaica. But in order for it to have been exactly what I'd wanted...IL's would have stayed home and it would have been at sunset. Unfortunately, in Jamaica, they don't perform sunset weddings. It is against their culture. They consider it bad luck.

As for the IL's...I didn't want anyone there. I wanted it to be just the two of us, but MIL really wanted to see her only child get married, so we allowed them to join us.

thats hot

I had my dream wedding last October. We got married at a beautiful hotel here in Puerto Rico in the hotel garden right at the beach at sunset. My son walked me down the aisle to Enya's Only Hope. We had around 100 people at the wedding. All of our guest were from out of town. I think probably the best part was that most of our guests stayed at least 3 days with us. We had such a great time with everyone in the days following the wedding. I am so thankful that I got the chance to spend time with all the people that I love. We had a blast swiming, surfing, horseback riding, fishing and stuffing our faces all together.

I agree. Thats why its a dream wedding... :)

Plus, i plan on MAKING everything thats in my wedding. Or having it made by friends. Im amazingly crafty. :)

Micah, somehow i guessed that! Haha very cute though.

Lets see: Ok. Im a not a very traditional girl. I would not want a very formal wedding. Plain white dress, maybe even wear white converse high tops, just because im cool like that. Short ceremony in a big open room. All of friends. After the ceremony the reception will be in the same big room, bc who wants to drive to a new location? Not me! My husbands and I first dance, will be a little different. infact it wont be a slow song at all. It will be some great dance song! And we will crazy dance. :rotfl2: This is the plan, seriously. The cutting of the cake, will not happen, because i wont have a cake, i will have Twinkies. haha. my "cake" will be a mountain of Twinkies, a fat kids paradise. Then we will dance all night!

Magic Kingdom.

Ceremony in front of the castle at the hub. Walk down main street to Spectromagic music as all the buildings light up in coordination with the music. Wedding party holds light ropes as they walk and then a private showing of Wishes after the ceremony ends.

Then, onto a bus and over to PI (that has been closed for the night) for an evening of partying with friends and family. Dinner outside on the West End Stage area...

OR

Over to Tomorrowland for an outdoor party (T-land at night is my favorite...)

well i ahve thought about the whole wedding at disney idea but none of my friends have enough money to fly down to orlando plus i think making it special to like fly down to orlando with my new husband will be so cool. a trip to disney just for us. i've planned the honeymoon more than the wedding. i want the sea/land package with disney cruise with 4 days at sea and then 3 days on land. hopefully GF, but im not betting on it.
for my wedding itself i would want a simple strapless white dress that is poofy. i want a pretty veil and i want my bridesmaids to wear emerald colored dresses. i want the groomsmen to match by wearing emerald colored vests with their tuxes. i want the ceremony at a pretty church and then the reception somewhere nice with pretty tables and a gorgeous cake. lots and lots of dancing.

I'd love charter one of the "cruise boats" here in NH for my wedding. Probably on Lake Winnepesaukee. Forget the church wedding. Forget super fancy. And only the people I want there. None of this "3rd cousin twice removed then married your first cousin" stuff. Only the people I (and my husband) love. I probably wouldn't have any bridesmaids, but I'll have a maid of honor: my sister. She'd be dressed in lavender or pale blue. My dress would be white, but simple. After the wedding it'd be off to Disney for our honeymoon, either at the Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian, or the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

seriously, the one thing that could make my sometime in the future wedding perfect would be for my family all to be there and get along, both sides of them.

Back when I got married, I had my dream wedding. Big church wedding with all the family and friends, big reception at a nice restaurant, wonderful honeymoon, the whole thing.

If I were getting married today, my dream wedding would be very different. I would want a very small, private ceremony at sunset on Kaanapali beach in Maui.

Same groom of course :cloud9:

City Hall.

But that was before DH said, "no way," and I got to have my other dream wedding last year, with immediate family only. Small 12-room inn, immediate family only, private dinner afterwards. :cloud9:

I had my dream wedding 15 years ago and it would still be the same today. Evening Christmastime wedding in my church with family and friends, followed by a small cake/punch/Christmas cookie reception at the same location with a string quartet playing. Just one attendent each and LOTS of music during the ceremony - a mix of classical and contemporary.

My wedding was my dream wedding. I can't think of one thing I'd do differently.

I had no desire to do a Disney wedding or a destination wedding. I wanted it to be open to all our loved ones to attend, and close enough for them to be there. We wanted their support and love on one of the biggest days in our life, and that's what we got.

On top of all that, I had kickin bridesmaid gowns, an incredible cake, a beautiful affordable gown, great photography, and a unique ceremony to reflect our personalities. What more could I have wanted?
