What's your calendar like for 2011?

I just bought my new calendar for 2011. It's a Warren Kimble one. I usually love all of his work, but even though this calendar is still nice some of the months really have me scratching my head. LOL I usually see calendars that have a co-ordinating picture to go with each month, but some of these are just :confused3:confused3:confused3 LOL

January---The front of a house with a snowy scene & snowman in front *typical winter scene

February---A lighthouse *really thought I'd see a heart theme???

March---A hilly scene with Colonial type houses *something to do with St. Patricks Day would have been nice (even if a big shamrock)

April---A big ole cow LOL *Nothing Easter related or spring like??

May---A big ole rooster sitting on eggs :confused3

June---A Colonial house

July---Red/White/Blue striped. With a big slice of watermelon on top *nice 4th of July theme

August---A beach scene with pail & umbrella *again, nice summer scene

September---Summer scene with hills and houses *nothing school related?

October---A scarecrow, pumpkins & corn stalks

November---A big stupid looking cat (seriously, NO turkey) LOL

December---Santa with gift bag over his shoulder, holding a cat.

Sorry, but I'm bored. I was just sitting here putting all my scheduled dates on my new calendar and thought some of the pictures on this calendar seemed out of whack.

Anyhow, what type of calendar do you have for next year? Are you the type to get a themed one to match your decor? Or do you get one of the free ones from places like the bank or grocery store? I have a black wooden calendar frame that I hang on my basement door that's in the kitchen.

I use my Outlook calendar that syncs with my phone calendar. I used to get the calendar from Current catalog that has large boxes that were lined and kept our life there but with computers and phones, I haven't bought a calendar in years.

I'll let you know when I open them on Christmas..:santa:

our 2011 calendar is an alabama crimson tide football team calendar. the 2010 calendar was various corvettes. we change it up each year, lol.

I'm hoping to get another quote-a-day calendar for Christmas. Last year it was The Office.

I got a day peel away calendar with pictures of Italy.

Nice! I don't normally buy calendars anymore but the last two years my MIL got me cat calendars along with a cat ornament. I'm really not cat obsessed it's just one thing she knows I like.

Totally misunderstood the post until I opened and read your complete reply. I "thought" you were asking how busy we were going to be and what all we had lined up for 2011. I had planned to tell you that 2011 was going to be the busiest year for me in decades because we're moving to another state in January and we'll be adding a large wing onto our new house. Since I misunderstood, I'll just keep this to myself. ;) Oh, I have no new calendar for 2011.

I made myself a voltron calender this year for 2011. Then made all positive quotes calender one too. Could tell had two much time on my hands.

Mine is a "Forever Yours Floral" Pockets Plus calendar. I started using pocket calendars a few years ago, I love having a set place to put all of our invitations, bills etc before they have to go out in the mail.

I have the Mom Family Calendar. It's great for keeping schedules and appointments for the whole family!

I use Google Calendar as my main scheduler. Just so darn easy with all my gadgets and gizmos. But I do also make one for the wall in the kitchen. Mostly for my dad as he's old school when it comes to such things.

I did it with Shutterfly this year and used a world travelleer template that has an old world map underneath and space for a series of pictures on top for each month. Been doing such things for years. Mostly I recycle photos from the last year which are themed for the current year. So in January I have a series of photos from our Christmas train garden (which we erect for the holidays and leave up all winter). In February I have images of the neighborhood during the blizzards last year. March shows the first images of Spring around the neighborhood (the first blossoms). April I have pictures from Disney last year knowing we'll be returning this year at the end of that month. May, June, July and August I have a selection of beach and vacation photos from this year as well as some old ones of Williamsburg knowing we'll be back there in July this year. September and October I bring in the Autumn colors, Halloween, football and a school play my nephews was in this year. November I begin the cold weather/holiday pics.

The personalized calendar is my preferred design. I have several images that are professional quality and I can mix memory with theme for that month.

The days of store-bought calendars are long over. I find them so sterile.

I bought my boyfriend a poop calendar for Christmas. Someone on here recommended it actually! It's called monthly doo's - dog poop in a nice scene each month. :rotfl:

You really have to know him, but he is going to think its hysterical and absolutely love it. I don't really use a calendar. Who knows, maybe i'll start this year!

I make my own calendar each year with pictures that mean something to me. I also put the whole extended family's birthdays down so I have them. It's pretty simple & I use powerpoint. :)

I have a weekly planner from Barnes and Noble. It is 5 by 7 so it fits in my pocketbook. I take it everywhere with me and once a week I write our weekly schedule on a dry erase board on the fridge.
I buy this 18 month calendar in July (and start using it then) so I do not need to transfer anything to the new calendar at this time. It works out great!!

I have started to use my calendar on my iphone. The funny thing though is yesterday we ordered chinese and they gave us a calendar. So I went to put it up in my hallway and took down the one from 2009! :rotfl2: it was M&M characters and replaced it with the new one. I did see a Mickey Mouse in the dollar spot at Target that I would have put up just for looks. But I did not grab it. If I see it the next time I'm there I'll get it.
