What's your 'big miss' that Disney needs to address?

Return of Resort Airline Check-in is a biggie for me. As a senior citizen, schlepping my luggage across the airport, is a concern. Also, return of AP sales, FP+ and monorail service to Epcot.

I just thought of another one - the train in MK. I hope that they finish Tron eventually (I may be off - I thought that was why the train wasn't in operation) and the train starts up again. We always found it to be a peaceful ride around the park. It's been YEARS since we've been on it!

The bus situation. Especially overcrowding, standing room only.
It's unlikely that standing on buses will disappear because the latest buses are designed for standing and the drivers job is to get as many people onboard as allowed.

Just curious, what do you mean by this? Here now and the Friendships are back to normal, as far as I can tell.
They’re still not going to DS from SSR, or OKW, (or PO obviously), and they’re still not going to Fort Wilderness from WL as far as I know. There are loads of things people are waiting for before booking vacations… I’m waiting to be able to take the boats from WL to FW so we can go have dinner at Trails End, roast s’mores with Chip and Dale, and watch fireworks on the beach before boating back to WL.

Dining Plan. Bring it back. I dont even need free dining. I just want to buy it and have my meals paid for ahead of time.

Why not just put what you expect to pay for meals on a Disney gift card in the interim? The other plus to doing that is if you have extra money left, it's yours to spend elsewhere at Disney.

Oh, got it! I thought that only the Epcot/HS boats were called Friendship boats. I agree that all boats need to come back!

Buy Disney gift cards, and use them for dining. Same result.

It's not the same. With gift cards, I still have to get out a payment to pay for food. I also still have to remember what Ive spent and keep track of my balance so that I don't overspend when nearing the end of our stay. With the DP, I can go into the restaurant and order anything on the menu from the respective category and not have to keep up with or worry about prices.

I was a staunch advocate AGAINST the DP until I tried it in 2019 and it made me a believer. Then COVID happened so we only ever got to use it once but it was the BEST new thing we ever tried.

Housekeeping for sure. Eight days is way too long to go in the Florida heat, parks, and pools without clean floors and bedding. We did a split stay our last trip on purpose so we would have only four days without cleaning, and it still got pretty yucky by the third day. I can (I'd rather NOT on vacation...) clean surfaces with wipes that I now have to pack; but floors? We did try to wipe up with wet towels, and it was still nasty, even with taking our shoes off at the door.

I'm not looking forward to that issue for our late July trip. There doesn't seem to be availability to do a split stay, and we like our resort. Last time we were at Corondo, they didn't even do towels or garbage. It sure doesn't feel resort-ish or magical with a big pile of dirty towels and garbage stinking up your room. Blech.

Where is the MK Welcome Show?!!

If they can bring back fireworks, they can bring back the welcome show!
