What's you longest wait?

Over an hour at Cali Grill. And, our ADR was 9:30. They are luckey I didn't walk around sampling other diner's meal, I was so hungry.

Weird too, because there really isn't a waiting area. A couple of chairs against the wall, staring at everyone else eating...

At least the firework viewing was awesome and it didn't interupt our meal as were not seated yet! :rotfl:

DH and I waited 50 minutes for Le Cellier last September(during free dining promo). Totally not worth the wait.

40 minute wait for DH, DMil and me at LTT in Dec 2004.

We had ADR's at Cali Grill last year and arrived 5-10min early as they had told us to, but once we got there we still had to wait about 20min. It didnt feel that long though and we needed the time to change from our park clothes into our dinner clothes anyway. You're almost always going to have a wait, cuz as we all know, ADR's arent really reservations!

We always wait min of 30 min. Last oct we waited for 1.5 hrs for Le Cellier. It was 9:00 when we got our table.(party of two) The only up side to that was we got to see Epcot with no one left in it. We also had to wait 1.5 hrs at CRT last Dec. We were a party of 11 then. They said they had already seated a big party and some other mess. The only good thing about the wait was the food was great as was the server. We are a party of 8 most of the time so I think this causes problems. We always try to be early but it does not seem to help. I will say that at Le Cellier their were alot of tables drinking and had stayed a long time.(even after dessert was served and eaten) I do not think when booking tables they plan for this.

Great thread. Very informative.

Could you guys post the time of your ADR's if you remember them? I'm just wondering if most of these long waits are 6/6:30pm and after......

The longest so far was for Sci Fi this last Dec. 7th at 2:20pm. It was the only seating I could get like a month out. I think we waited a good 30 minutes after the ADR time. Not surprising........It was still sort of peak lunch time........the place was jammed and they were turning away people left and right. It was our second time there and we've loved it both times. We had great burgers and onion rings!

1 hour & 30 minutes at Boma on December 31, 2002. Our ADR was for 7:00 PM & eventhough we knew it was New Years Eve & they would be busy because we were there 2 nights before for dinner, we did not think it would have been that long of a wait.

In our last two trips w/ ADRs, the only significant wait I remember was BOMA. However, being able to wander around AKL with a drink in hand was certainly nothing to complain about. I don't remember any signficant waits at the Epcot restaurants, but we tend to go late, and don't have a young child to worry about.

Family of six.

I am considering taking the hidden mickey book for our september trip to make the expected wait times fly by, but then again, I HATE bag check! Ive gotten used to flying through the no bags entrance!

Last Sept during free dining we waited about 50 minutes past our ADR time at Le Cellier (and we had checked in about 20 minutes early). We waited about 40 minutes past our ADR time at Hollywood & Vine and also at CRT after again checking in about 20 minutes early. At Le Cellier our ADR was for around 7:00pm, at Hollywood & Vine it was for around 5:00pm, and at CRT it was for 9:00am. We were a party of four.

As the OP I am delighted that this thread has taken off! Our longest wait was 15 mins at C Palace so you guys have got me concerned for our ADRs in August!!

Mom of Sleepy, Bashful and Baby Doc:
At the California Grill it was a Saturday night and the ADR was for 8:00. Should have added that we had to stand the entire time because there were no seats at the bar or in the lounge!!

We once waited 25 minutes past our scheduled time at Hollywood & Vine in MGM. That's the longest I ever waited.

We usually get seated pretty quick! :)

::yes:: Me too! The only place we've ever had a LONG wait was Boma, and they were very rude...accused us of stealing the pager, the waitress told us we were too sensitive and should just be happy to be there at all, and we were actively ignored by the chefs, so we missed out on a lot of stuff because we weren't sure if it was vegetarian. We're trying it again this trip and I'm getting very nervous!

We waited almost an hour past our ADR at Crystal Palace for dinner. This was during Christmas week and, of course, everything was packed.

10 min. when there have been two of us.

30 min. at 'Ohana's with 6 (5PM reservation...hmmm, that's when the place opens!)

30 min. at Plaza .... a CM who forgot to check us in after I went up there and didn't know how to seat people when it was busy....another CM hostess apologized for his mistake.

In June we arrived at PTC for our ADR 15 minutes ahead like they tell you and we waited at least 30 minutes past our time.

One other time at Sci-Fi we waited probably 40 minutes or so. Those have been the worst.

We had ADR at the resturant at POR for breakfast.
We checked in 20 minutes early. Waited 30 min -Checked with hostess who told us we would be seated soon. Waited another 45 minutes checked again -again told would be soon. We gave up and went to the food court.

I never waited that long at any of the park restuarants.
:confused3

This is something i think i'm going to have to take into consideration more when I'm finalizing our itinerary for our September trip. We have 4 reservations for Boma (2 breakfast and 2 dinner), dinner at the plaza and dinner at the rose and crown.
