What's wrong with my ressies??

Keep you ressies!!! Everything is filling up. You HAVE to go to these places, because they are very popular WDW themed places! Everyones' experience differs because of many factors including which side of the bed they got up on in the morning! These are famous WDW restaurants, and occasionally they may have a bad moment, but you don't have to. Enjoy and be thankful you could GET the ADR!!! :maleficen

I agree........... go, have a wonderful time, and enjoy every minute of it!!!!

Tine731 ~ You made my day.......... I'm still laughing!!! I am however going to not be able to stop myself from "borrowing" your family motto........

" If he fly's, he fly's"

Perfect!!!!! :earboy2:

We WILL be at WDW Sept. 17. I don't care if there is weather or not. Again, we WILL be at WDW Sept. 17. Now that that is said, I will not be cooking, doing laundry, making beds or cleaning bathrooms. I have made my ADR's and have decided that I am going to keep them just the way they are. ANY meal will be magic because I had to do nothing except order. At any CS place I will probably make my husband even get the trays. I have been driving myself crazy as well and decided it was just that, "crazy". Why put myself through all of that? It is vacation.

When I originally offered to take my son and D-I-L to WDW I was thinking in May around her birthday. She decided they'd rather wait until Sept 17th-24th, so we could be down there during their anniversary. My other son and I both told them they were crazy 'that's hurricane season'. My D-I-L insisted, so I bought trip insurance and went with the flow---free dining was offered. I then chose to go solo on my first solo trip this past May and had a blast. I printed the menus off allears and told her I wanted Le Cellier, but other than that to pick wherever she wanted to eat. She chose Planet Hollywood, Hollywood & Vine, Big River Grille, and Cap'n Jacks (along with CM, CP, CRT, Le Cellier). I tried to tell her we didn't like Hollywood & Vine when we ate there in January and that Planet Hollywood, Big River Grille, and especially Cap'n Jacks never gets good reviews. She said fine we'd split meals at Le Cellier, Planet Hollywood, Big River Grille, and Cap'n Jacks, but she really wanted to try them. She also wants to go to Beaches & Cream and get a Kitchen Sink, even though we've told her it's not good. I gave up talking to her and decided once again to go with the flow. They want to do the water parks three times and DQ which I do not, so I told them it would give them a chance to be alone and I'd go off on my own to play at Epcot (my favorite park), but my D-I-L got her feelings hurt and doesn't understand why I don't want to hang out with them, so once again I decided to go with the flow and do what they want. I'll pack a book and find a cool shady corner. Even though I would have planned the trip differently, am I going to have fun? You betcha! I'm going to be at WDW! Can't wait! We'll deal with a hurricane if we have to, I'll find something to do at the water parks and DQ, if we don't like the TS she's picked out, I'll leave the food on my plate and find a familiar CS. Hey, you'll be at Disney and with loved ones, enjoy the small things and each other. The weather you can't change and if the TS happens to be bad you'll be able to find something good at one of the CS or kiosks. You won't starve.

Figure out what YOU like and review the menus and the opinions on the board looking for what YOU want. If you don't like buffets, Chef Mickey's is probably a poor choice. However, if you don't mind buffets, or even find them to be a great choice, the character interaction at Chef Mickey's may be great. Likewise, the food at the California Grill may be some of the best at Disney, but if you are going to have a cow over the high prices, you might be happier at someplace with less frou frou food and more moderate prices. I really don't enjoy the food at the RFC, yet we go fairly often for the atmosphere.

Its easy to get snookered by bad reviews. I think its easier to get snookered by good ones.
