What's up with Wishes Dessert Party?

We are going to Disney World in September and I have been trying to book the Wishes Dessert Party for months. At the moment you can only book it online through the end of July if you use the calendar to select your date. Apparently some Dis'rs have been able to secure an adr for August by manually entering their date (ie 08/15/2011). No one has been able to book anything for September. If you call, the CM's tell you there is nothing available for August or September.

Do any of the experts from the podcast know what's going on? Is Disney getting rid of the dessert party? Has anyone heard anything?
