whats up with this........

I used archival mist on a newspaper article (the whole can). At that time my PH tester turned blue. The other day I saw that the marks had turned yellow(high acid) I retested and my new marks turned yellow. Does any one know why it did this? Did I not use enough? Did I just waste $12?

I never used the stuff - I scan and print or photocopy -
I would e-mail the company and ask them...
