I was just checking through the pics of the DS 100 yrs pins and there is not a pin from the Jungle Book! 10 Pooh pins but NOT ONE from the Jungle book! Something is wrong here!

Good observation! Maybe because the Artist Choice pin was so great, they couldn't top it? Lame excuse, but nethertheless.

It's a stretch... But pooh is from the 100 acre woods and the Woods are close to the forest and jungle is just a dense forest so... Never mind...

Nat, that is a stretch!!!! N2mm there is a tink, very, very small but in there. Check out the Peter Pan Poster pin.

Don't feel so bad now. If they can skip a popular character like Tink (as if there aren't enough Tink pins!!) then I guess skipping THE LAST animated feature Walt personally oversaw is OK. NOT!!

I was thinking almost the same thing, how did they come up with these pins and the order they are in. It makes no sense to me.
but I have to admit, I was pulled to the dark side tonight. I wanted to pick up some inexpensive (read: cheap) traders for my trip in November (23 days to go). All they had left was Pooh and Eeyore. But I don't plan on keeping them honestly, they are going on CM lanyards for some rack pins. Peggie

Kat I got 1 Villain, Oogie Boogie.

I like the idea that they are doing pins of things that have never been made in to a pin or there aren't very many, Like Oogie Boogie and Trick or Treat. But here are ALOT of Piglet pins out there. Who needs another when there has never been a legit pin of characters like Mad Madam Mim and Yzma just to mention 2.

OK time to bury the dead horse and get off the soap box.

Someone had better make sure I get the Oogie Boogie pin or I will not be held responsible!

I understand the economic drivers that led you to purchase some of those bear pins as traders.

But, you must pack them carefully! Do not allow them to mix with your other pins. As a nurse, you understand the ramifications of contamination. I'll leave it at that.

I have that Peter Pan Poster (not the pin) and Tink is not on there. I tried to look at the pix on Dizpins but I don't see her. Still it's a Peter Pan & gang pin so I guess it will do. How could they make a poster without Tinker Bell anyway??

OK you caught me. I ASSUMED Tink would be on the Peter Pan Poster pin. I do have that poster somewhere Oh well who needs another Tink pin anyways, right Kathie?

I agree...WAY too many Pooh pins!!!! Where's Cinderella's Castle? And why are the Pooh pins so colorful and the Sleeping Beauty Castle pin so dull and ugly? And why no Beauty and the Beast poster? Why no Scar pin? How about Zazu?? Where are Annette and Cubby? Pooh, Pooh, Pooh!!! He's everywhere....I can't take it anymore!!!!!!

It might have to do with it being the bears 75th anniversery... But I agree... There is just to much Pooh at the expense of other characters.
