I thought he was one of the "cool" characters? However, we only saw him one time LATE at night tucked away in a corner with Chip and Dale, and Chip and Dale had a waaay longer line! Donald merchandise is obviously not as popular either... I noticed small Donald sections and more of everyone else, even characters I did not recognize.
Is Donald really not that popular??

I've never been a big Donald Duck fan, he's always so mean! I don't mind him, but he's not one of my favorites.

I love Donald!! He's always been a favorite of mine.

I guess that, on windy days, Donald and Daisy's heads can be a bit of a problem for them. We went 2 summers in a row, and missed Donald! On our last day, the Mayor came by, and asked us how it was going. We told him how much we missed Donald, and he borrowed our autograph books from us. When he came back, they were signed. He said Donald was "in a meeting".

The next day, we went to breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen before we left, and Donald was at the picture area outside! So we did get pictures with Donald, after all. It was awesome!

Now we are hoping we run into Daisy at the Lilo and Stich breakfast this year.

Oh, and when shopping last time, I came across a rack of Donald Duck zip up hoodies. I bought one right away. The CM who rang me up said they can't keep the Donald stuff in stock. It goes really fast.

I remember hearing that Donald isn't out too much because the costume is "difficult," I guess.

Donald has always been one of my favorites. ::yes::

I saw Donald 2 Fridays ago. He was coming out of the area right behind Plaza Inn, over by the bathrooms in between Tomorrowland and Main Street. He was with Alice, the Mad Hatter, Mickey, Goofy and Pinocchio... And I think that's it? Anyways, I was suprised because I never see him..

My Son really wanted a picture with Donald for his Autograph book, the only place we saw him was next to the Theatre (50th Anniversary show) at around 1000. We saw him there two days in row and finally caught him by getting there a little earlier and waiting for him to come out. I am sure if you ask Public Relations they will tell you where to find him...

My ds11 (at the time he was 9) told Donald once, that Mickey was his favorite.

donald SHOVED my son out of the way.

We were cracking up so much. That was our Christmas card photo that year.

Out of my 8 trips to DLR so far, I've never seen Donald Duck in any of my stays...

We didn't see him at all. He was my Grandpa's favorite, so I like him because it reminds me of him...

You would think with him being part of Mickey's trio that he'd be pretty popular. I always liked Goofy more, but the contrast between Goofy and Donald's characters is pretty funny.

I can't say I've ever seen him, actually.

I've seen all the rest of Mickey and Friends though (except Daisy).
Silly ducks.

When I was a child Donald was always out and about in the park but now it seems Disney has neglected the poor fellow for a couple decades.

I like Donald, he is a true Disney classic and provides a different angle than any of the other characters. I couldn't take Donald every day but he is definitely welcome in my mind.

Maybe Donald comes off as too abrasive, too stressed, too tempered for total saturation to the overly PC powers at be at Disney.

From what I've heard, the big problem with Donald is that he is short. Its hard to find cm's that can fit the costume.

I love Donald. His classic cartoons are hilarious, and he's a character I really empathize with. Bad temper, life always handing him the short end of the stick, living in the shadow of someone more successful and popular. :rolleyes1

A character you see even less than Donald is Daisy. I'm most inclined to believe the reason for their elusiveness is costume difficulty.

Oh no! I love Donald and hope to see him in DL! I saw him at EPCOT, in the Mexico pavillion with the other two Caballeros. He tried to steal me away after I told him he was my favorite!:rotfl2:

Daisy is always at the Lilo and Stich b-fast, hiding from the Donald.
