I've heard a TON of planes/helicopters flying over and truth be told have gotten a little scared. anyone else hear them?

Haven't heard a thing. That's very odd.

They were flying over from 7:30ish to 8ish. You have NO IDEA how loud and low they flying.

I havent heard a thing, thank God, I just booked a flight to go to Disney. I hate flying but heck, I am going to take the chance:D

yes, well Prince Charming woke me up! He better not find me now, i might bite of his head. I'm cranky and sleepy and need coffee and we don't have any filters!!!!

Do what I do Von, buy a coffee maker with a washable filter.:teeth:

Sorry you're cranky. Want me to find Prince Charming's number and fuss him out for waking Sleeping Beauty up?:)

would you, could you? I would totally appreciate it! :teeth:

if you don't have any coffee filters, you can use a paper towel in a pinch.

We live close to an airport so it's normal to me!

Gail T: I understand how you feel we are flying this year and I'm not that happy about it. But it sure beats the drive!

I did hear 1 low flying/loud plane this morning, but we do get them from time to time.

Mac3, we are both flying once and driving once this year. Im much more looking forward to the drive. Weve already had 1 disaster with our flights and the trip is still 9 months away! ;)

CamColt: We did that lasy year, drove in June, flew in Oct. I put on my brave face for my daughter and got on the plane. I needed a bit of liquid courage though.

After she flew in October she decided she never wanted to drive again (takes way too long Mom)! Now I'm the only one in the family that doesn't mind the drive. It's long but I am much more relaxed in the long run.

I guess I'll have to take my brave face out of the closet again for this trip too.

Enjoy,
Lisa

Lisa and Cam,
I know what both of yoiu are talking about. I'm going to Chicago in May and have considered taking a train, bus and plane. Unfortunatley the plane is cheaper so I have to fly. Ive got these butterflies in my tummy that just won't stop flying around. I'm a nervous wreck!

Nice to know Im not alone. ;) DH & I flew down once last summer, but then we drove with the kids.
Maybe having the kids with us on the plane will keep me occupied so I wont have time to worry. Although I do like the idea of being on our own schedule as opposed to being at the mercy of the airline flight changes, delays, etc.. I will be stressing about this until we land in Orlando, LOL!

Ok I feel better that I'm not the only person that stresses over this. We'll all be fine!

Take a deep breath and board that plane! Have fun in Chicago!
