This is the first time we will be going in Oct
21 to 28

What is the weather like
the last two trips were in Dec for Christmas
We have so many days left on water park we would like to be able to use them.
We will also be going to the Halloween party .And what to plan are costumes with the weather in mind.
Thanks
Shelley

Should be very nice, warm and sunny. Might not be warm for swimming but good for the parks. Still hurricane season.

We go for 2 weeks in October every year and have never had any weather problems (despite hearing "why on earth are you going during hurricane season?" dozens of times over the weeks before we go).

It's still quite warm and even when they have a "cold front" come in it's anything but cool with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Last year we had one week of perfect temperatures and one week of suffocating heat but not a single raindrop.

Make sure you get your tix for the Halloween party well in advance as it gets busier the closer it gets to Halloween. We went on the 20th last year and it was a sellout.

Hope this helps!

We went in 2006 at this time. It was beautiful weather. Cooler at night so bring a sweater or light jacket and pants. I love this time of the year.
And the crowds aren't that bad only on the weekends.

We went a couple of weeks earlier than you, on the canadian thanksgiving weekend (6th to 10th or something like that) last fall and it was sweltering! Low 90's during the day so the kids swam their little hearts out! Excellent weather, but hot. We are going to try to go again this year!My friend goes the first week of november because the weather is pretty good by then, not too hot for line ups but warm enough to be comfortable. Have fun, we loved the halloween party!

We like going in Oct the best - last year we were there from Oct 8-21 and weather was perfect - never needed a sweater or long pants - and the only bad part was the terrible heat in the last 1/2 of the 2nd week - was so hot and humid all we wanted to do was swim. Several nights over the 2 weeks we would be out swimming after returning from a late night in the parks!!

That what I wanted to hear
The last 2 trips were at Christmas and we never swam.
Between the 3 of us we have over 10 days worths of water park passes that we have never used.
We can't what for the Hallowen party.
Having experinced MVMMCP
I'm sure the Halloween party is going to be great.

We were just down there this past Oct and it was gorgeous! Warm during the day and a little cooler at night but no rain and it was great!:goodvibes

I am a 72-78 type of gal but this last trip in October left me whining. I hate the heat and we broke several records that week. I hated every minute of it. It was up to 94-95 some days and others were 90-92. Worst 4 days at Disney ever, when it cooled the following week, we loved the water park.

I loved early November last time though.

I will never go in October again, but that is me...It was too hot. You will love it. The most I have ever needed in October was jeans and a very light jacket at night. Most of the time, I did not get to wear them at all.

I have never been to WDW, but we usually travel to Disneyland in late October or November. I am not familiar with the Halloween bash. Do they allow adults to dress up?
In 2000 we were at DL for Halloween, and when we arrived at the gate with our costumes on, the woman tells us we can't wear our costumes inside. Before we can even respond three security guys appeared behind her. We had no argument, if that was the rules. We just stepped away from the gate and took our costumes off and put them in our back packs, which then went in a locker. The security guys disappeared just as quickly as the appeared.
We were diappointed. So at this Halloween bash...are costumes allowed?

Yes for the MNSSHP dates at the Magic Kingdom in WDW, costumes are allowed.
