What's the weather like in late Jan.?

A few years ago, we went to WDW during the week of our son's birthday. My DD has been hinting loudly that it would be nice to go for her birthday. I was thinking of taking her to DL instead, for something new, but am wondering what the weather is like in late January. Is it cold? What is the average temp? Really rainy? Thanks in advance!

I as at DL towards the end of jan, weather was great. Does get a bit cold at night but during the day it was usually around the high 60s or so.. We didn't encounter any rain at all..

We were there Jan 7-10 this year and experienced record temps. It was high 80's during the day and very very HOT! We did need our coats at night for the fireworks/Fantasmic, etc.

The thing about southern California is you never know what the weather will be. There have been years past when January is very rainy. It can also be very cold or very warm. You just take your chances.
