What's the usual AP discount (and more ???)

I just booked Beach club for 3 nights in August. (2A, 2C)
This stay follows a 3 night stay at the Swan.

I plan on getting our tickets at time of arrival and getting 7 days.
Don't want to do FD because it negates value of 7 day tix, correct?

I have been challenged to run 1/2M in March, 2010, so I would be back within a year.

Should I buy an AP for myself BEFORE we travel? I am hoping I would receive the 40% AP discount, which could be applied to my existing Rm Only res?

I am about to go crazy trying to sort out the savings in this crazy trip!

Free dining really has nothing to do with the value of the 7 day tickets. If you already had an AP then you would need to have at least a 1 day ticket for each guest on your FD ressie.

If your going to be returning in March, I would get an AP. This can be done when you arrive. They can credit the cost of your ticket to the AP.

If your not doing the FD, I would purchase the tickets in advance. If you wait until arrival you will be paying the full gate price.

What I am planning on doing is buying 7 day tickets (3 nts at Swan plus 3 nights at BC) and I would pay the MOST for teh early portion of the ticket because after 3-4 days, the price per day drops dramatically. And if I make the BC into a FD package, I have to get everyone another 1 day ticket, and the 1 day ticket is the most expensive, correct? So the FD pkg actually costs us 4 1-day tickets (about $300 plus, right, for 2 adults, 2 kids) when the savings of "free" dining is about $300 for the 3 night stay.

I should definitely get an AP and then hope I can get the discounted room.

yes if you are going swan first, then either get a 7 day ticket for the entire stay or an AP. it's not worth it for 3 days at Bc to get the FD and the required 3 day ticket. Not that it doesn't happen but you can almost always get some time of discount. Especially in August. What are you exact dates? I can take a look around & see if there is anything.

8/21 to 8/24 at Swan (hubby's birthday is 8/21 and your room is free on your birthday!!)
